Minister Sharaf indicated that the US minister's statement is expected because it serves the interests of the White House and the Saudi Royal Court, and was launched at this time with the aim of encouraging Riyadh to increase oil production to compensate for the global shortage caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war.

He pointed out that this biased position of the US administration, to encourage the continuation of US-Saudi aggression against Yemen, is inconsistent with the efforts and endeavors made by several international and regional parties to end the military aggression and lift the siege on Yemen.
