News - Yemen: Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned the bombing of health facilities in Hodeidah Governorate by the US-Saudi aggression.

According to Saba news agency, the ministry denounced the aggression’s targeting of Makram Health Center on Kamaran Island, which resulted in the injury of at least ten civilians. It also denounced targeting the drug stores of Al-Aqsa Specialized Hospital in the 7-Yolio neighborhood, which led to its destruction and damage to civilian objects, including the Tahrir Medical Center.

Ministry of Health pointed out that this targeting is a grave violation of international and humanitarian law, exacerbating the suffering of the Yemeni people. It pointed out that the targeting is an extension of a series of crimes committed and is still by the aggression by deliberately bombing health facilities throughout its aggression during the past seven years.

It held the United Nations and the Security Council fully responsible for the crimes of aggression against Yemen, in the forefront of targeting health facilities because of their silence and disavowal of their duties, which encouraged the US coalition to continue committing more crimes against the Yemeni people.

A number of civilians were injured, Saturday, as a result of the US-Saudi aggression’s targeting of Kamaran Island in Hodeidah.

Almasirah Net correspondent in the governorate reported that the aggression’s warplanes targeted a health center in Makram village on Kamaran Island, injuring six civilians, including three children, and damaging neighboring houses.

The US-Saudi aggression also targeted Al-Wahidi gas station in Al-Qanaws district, as well as a drug warehouse belonging to Al-Aqsa Hospital in 7-Yolio residential neighborhood in the city.

The US-Saudi aggression continues to target neighborhoods and populated areas and destroy the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the claim of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.

The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead, and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
