World: “New York Times” revealed in a report, Monday, that the Saudi wealth fund, which is supervised by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has invested two billion dollars in a company founded by Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump, despite objections expressed by the fund’s advisory committee about the deal.

It is noteworthy that as of public filings disclosed on March 31 of this year, Kushner's Affinity Fund is managing $2.5 billion -- the bulk of which is from overseas investors, mainly Saudi Arabia.

The head of the non-profit Public Citizen Group, Robert Wiseman, commented on the deal, describing Kushner's relationship with the Saudis as "extremely worrying", considering Kushner's position towards the Saudi leadership, as a senior US advisor in the US administration makes the commercial partnership (between Saudi Arabia And Kushner) looks like a reward and an investment for Kushner.

It is known that Kushner played a leading role within the administration of US President Donald Trump in defending Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, after US intelligence agencies concluded that he had approved the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018. 

He also played a major role in mediating the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia worth $110 billions of dollars over 10 years, where he helped shield those and other arms deals from congressional wrath over the Khashoggi murder and the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Saudi-led military intervention in Yemen.

It has become clear that the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, is not rewarding Kushner for his previous services, but rather he is rewarding him for subsequent services that he is eagerly awaiting, in the event that Trump returns to the White House, or one of those close to Trump, from the American right-wing Zionists.

Bin Salman runs the government in Saudi Arabia, through groups and people in the White House and Congress, draining the Saudi treasury funds, in a hideous way, and what the New York Times revealed is nothing but the tip of the iceberg for the money that he spends on whom he considers them the godfather of his rule.
