UAE-Saudi Occupied Governorates in Southern Yemen Witness Many Crimes Against Citizens
News - Yemen: Spokesman for the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs confirmed Saturday that the UAE-Saudi occupied cities in Yemen witness many crimes targeting innocent citizens.
Talaat Al-Sharjabi explained to "Almasirah" that the attacks that are happening in the occupied areas are under the direct sponsorship of the leaders of the military formations of the US-Saudi mercenaries.
It should be noted that Al-Sharjabi stated in an interview with Almasirah on May 26, that there are more than 18 secret prisons in Taiz affiliated with the US-Saudi aggression, and the prisoners there are subjected to the worst forms of torture.
On June 1, two citizens were killed in an armed robbery that targeted a store in Aden, which is run by the forces of occupation and their mercenaries.
Local sources said that two workers in a store in Al-Mamadara city in Aden were killed by a young armed man who shot them directly.
On October, Activists on social media had circulated information that the explosion was caused by a car bomb near the gate of Aden Airport, which is controlled by the UAE militia in Aden.
The crimes of clashes in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Abyan and Shabwa increased to 265 crimes due to insecurity and the proliferation of militias and armed groups loyal to the countries of the coalition.
“Based on the directives of the occupying countries, the armed militias affiliated with them faced peaceful protests in the streets of Aden, Ataq, Mukalla and Wadi Hadramawt districts by force of arms, forced arrests, chases, and raids on the homes of the free people who rejected the occupation,” the report pointed out.
The report stated that the Center's monitoring unit has recorded 380 crimes against peaceful protesters in the occupied southern governorates during September, including three killings, 280 arrests and extra-legal detentions, and 36 neighborhood raids to search for activists opposed to the starvation policies implemented by the occupying countries and Hadi's government.
As a result of the escalating security chaos, seven incidents of systematic bombings, with the intent to harm the citizens' peace in the city of Aden, were monitored, and 9 raids of citizens' homes by armed militias, in addition to the suppression, intimidation, shooting and arrest of the protesters in a number of governorates.
Occupied southern governorates are witnessing a tragic situation, high crime levels, currency deterioration, and rising prices. They have witnessed protests and sit-ins during the last period, due to the worsening humanitarian and economic conditions.
