Bin Salman Paid One Million Riyals to Stop 'Mujtahid' Account on Twitter
News - Middle East: Testimony of the former Saudi intelligence official, Saad Al-Jabri, before the American courts, revealed a new scandal for the Saudi Crown Mohammed bin Salman.
Al-Jabri told US court that bin Salman had bragged to him by silencing the famous “Mujtahid” account on Twitter, in exchange for one million Saudi riyals (about $300,000) paid by the crown prince, to his “man in Twitter.”
“Saad Al-Jabri had informed the American court that Bin Salman had bragged to him by silencing the voice of the “Mujtahid” account for one million Saudi riyals via (his Twitter client)," Prominent Saudi writer Turki Al-Shalhoub said.
It is noteworthy that the “Mujtahid” account is a famous account for its political leaks on Saudi Arabia and the ruling family in particular in Twitter, which has often been proven true.
