News - Yemen: Local sources reported that the US-Saudi aggression deployed, Monday, new forces in Al-Mahra Governorate, coinciding with the start of large movements to explore for Oil and exploit the governorate's strategic wealth.

Sheikh Ali Al-Huraizi, head of the Al-Mahra sit-in committee, vowed to bring down the Emirati conspiracies and their efforts to seize the port of Qishn, stressing that the coalition’s plans to target the governorate are still continuous.

For its part, Al-Mahra Governor Al-Qatabi Ali Hussein Al-Faraj warned of dangerous plots carried out by the US-Saudi aggression targeting Al-Mahra Governorate and its people in general.

Al-Qatabi pointed out that the Mahri society's great rejection of the Saudi-Emirati military presence contributed greatly to the attempts of the occupying countries to target the governorate and its people and drag it into the square of conflict.

He stressed that the escalation of popular anger against the foreign presence in Al-Mahra is an indication of the approaching battle to liberate the governorate from the occupiers and their mercenaries.

He pointed out that the arrival of a number of large arms shipments to the port of Nishtun, British and American military trainers to the Ghayda International Airport, evidence of an attempt to target the people of Mahra and flood the occupied governorates in general with drugs.

The governor of Al-Mahra indicated that the occupation is trying to complete control over strategic areas and ports and build military bases under the supervision of the Presidential Command Council.

He noted that the popular movements led by the peaceful sit-in committee in the governorate enjoy great popular and societal support.

He also stressed that the people of Mahra have the determination to expel the Saudi-Emirati occupation within the framework of a national project that includes all the Yemeni people to expel the occupation from the homeland.
