Yemenis Concerned with Preserving National Unity, Confronting Conspiracies of Saudi-led Aggression

News - Yemen: Yemeni Mufti, scholar Shams Al-Din Sharaf Al-Din, affirmed that Yemenis are concerned with preserving national unity and confronting the conspiracies of Saudi-led aggression to tear Yemen apart.

The statement of the Mufti of Yemen came during the inauguration of the National Salvation Government, the presidency of the Supreme Judicial Councils, the Parliament, the Shura Council, and the Dar Al-Ifta on Sunday, in Sana’a, officially the Yemeni celebrations of the Prophet’s birthday.

The Mufti of Yemen called to uphold the values ​​of tolerance and to move out of narrow frameworks into the vast expanse of Islam that unites Yemenis and gathers all Muslims.

He stressed the need for state officials to emulate the values ​​of Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, in being close to the subjects, serving them, and managing the state for the pleasure of Allah.


Parliament Speaker: Saudi Arabia has never been a friend of the Yemeni people

The Speaker of the Parliament Sheikh Yahya Al-Ra’i said that Saudi Arabia used the so-called legitimacy as a cover for the destruction of Yemen, and it was never a friend of the Yemeni people

Al-Ra’i pointed out that the military parades shocked the enemies.

"We are concerned with maintaining the state of strength that we have built despite the aggression and siege, strengthening the state of internal steadfastness and strengthening the factors of internal cohesion at all levels," he added.

For his turn, Judge Ahmed Al-Mutawakil head of the Supreme Judicial Council pointed out that the Prophet's birthday is an occasion to show the unity of Yemenis and the strength of their side to the enemy and the friend.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan said that the Yemeni occupied territories will not miss the celebration of the Prophet's birthday.

"We are concerned with delivering messages to the enemy during the occasion."

Meanwhile, the Minister of Local Administration Sheikh Ali Al-Qais, indicated that the military parades warmed the hearts of Yemenis and erased some of the tragedies caused by the aggression and siege.

According to observers, the Yemeni people are unique in holding the largest celebrations in the Arab and Islamic world to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, especially after the victory of the September 21, 2014 revolution that restored the Yemeni people’s faith identity.

Every year, mosques, squares, streets, houses and cars are covered with green flags and green lights, in conjunction with the establishment of events, celebrations and remembrance councils to celebrate the birth of the Noble Prophet.

The events culminate in the largest celebration in the world, with millions of Yemenis gathering in the largest squares of the capital, Sana’a, and the provincial squares, to commemorate the birth of the last Prophet, may God bless him and his family, on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal.
