Al-Huraizi Calls to Confront Chaos Attempts in Al-Mahara

News - Yemen: Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi, head of the peaceful sit-in committee in Al-Mahra governorate, called for confronting any attempts to ignite chaos in the governorate. This came during his meeting with the sheikhs and dignitaries of Al-Mahara  governorate, affirming their support to continue the struggle against foreign forces and their tools that are trying to pass the plans of the Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition.

In turn, Al-Huraizi thanked Al-Mahra tribes, calling on everyone to be ready to confront any attempts to ignite chaos and drown the Mahra in the militancy of militias and the square of conflicts.

In the same context, Saudi Arabia pushed new military reinforcements to Al-Mahra Governorate, in conjunction with an unprecedented tribal mobilization in the border governorate, in light of wide popular arrangements for a decisive battle against foreign forces and their mercenaries.

Local sources said that Saudi crews and armored vehicles on board trucks arrived in the city of Al-Ghaydah coming from Al-Wadiah road, while other weapons arrived in the past hours on a cargo plane at Al-Ghaydah Airport. The motives of the new Saudi reinforcements are not yet known, but they come in light of Saudi-Emirati fears of an imminent armed tribal uprising against the forces of the aggression coalition in Mahra, following a great popular movement to get rid of the foreign presence in the province.

On August, Al-Mahra Governorate witnessed large movements to confront the foreign forces in the governorate, standing with its wise leadership headed by Sheikh Ali Al-Huraizi.

This came after a meeting of tribal sheikhs organized by Al-Mahra sit-in committee, to discuss the urgent developments taking place in the governorate, especially the escalation of US-British reinforcements, and the mobilization of the occupying Emirati factions. The committee said in a statement, "It has become necessary to confront the foreign forces deployed on the coasts and vital sites of the governorate," warning of Western efforts to implement new military construction.

The mobilization of the Al-Mahra tribes comes within the framework of the escalating people in the province against the invading foreign forces, which seek to exploit the assets and wealth of the eastern regions, and multiply the suffering of the citizens.

The occupied southern governorates are witnessing a security chaos, and an escalation of attacks and assassinations between the parties loyal to the US-Saudi-UAE aggression, in light of the spread of Takfiri groups.

The attack in Shabwa comes with the escalation of the state of popular revolution, and the outbreak of massive protests in the city of Aden, reflecting the rejection of occupying UAE-Saudi aggression.

The citizens protest against the continued deterioration of living conditions, the interruption of services, the collapse of the economy and currency, and the significant increase in fuel prices.

Earlier, UAE-Saudi-backed forces carried out a massive campaign of arrests against citizens in the city, following the protests that demanded the expulsion of the "UAE-Saudi Council of agents".

Local news revealed the escape of the first minister in the Saudi-backed government from the city of Aden. It was reported that the Minister of Defense in the Saudi-backed government, Mohammed Al-Maqdashi, fled from the Ma’ashiq “presidential” Palace.

Aden protests came two days after the outbreak of a popular uprising in Mukalla city, the capital of Hadramout province, which spread to Shihr and Ghail Bawazir cities, calling for improving living conditions and the level of electricity and water services.

Saudi Arabia and many of its allies have been waging a war on Yemen since 2015 to restore power there to the country’s Riyadh-friendly former officials. The war and a simultaneous siege that the US-Saudi-led coalition has been enforcing on the country has killed hundreds of thousands of Yemenis.

The invasion has pushed entire Yemen close to the brink of outright famine, turning the country into the scene of the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
