Fox News’s Broadcaster Ridicules Bin Salman’s Failed Projects to Develop Tourism

News - Middle East: The American “Fox News” channel’s broadcaster has been shown joking about the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and ridiculing his dreams and projects aimed at developing tourism in the Kingdom.

The famous broadcaster directed a severe insult to the Crown Prince's failure to make the country a destination for tourists from different countries of the world, away from Hajj and Umrah visits.

"I think Riyadh is miserable and I don't want to spend a moment there," she said, talking about tourism in Saudi Arabia.

She added: "When planning a big family vacation, what place comes to your mind, Disney World or Paris?", adding sarcastically: "or Saudi Arabia?"

"The very repressive kingdom wants to be the current magnet for tourism," the presenter added, adding in a sarcastic tone that it is investing a trillion dollars to achieve this.

And she added, "Regardless of the mistreatment of women and the murder of journalists with a bone saw, bin Salman believes that people will condone it."

She stated that he thinks it is "in exchange for enjoying the intense sunshine in Saudi Arabia."

She continued sarcastically while speaking to her guest, who hosted him to discuss the case, saying, "Have you booked your ticket, Scott?"

A video clip showed a group of foreign tourists visiting Saudi Arabia criticizing the failure of the tourism sector in the Kingdom and the lack of infrastructure for it.

One of them said: “There is literally no infrastructure for tourism in Saudi Arabia and it is not ready for tourism.”

He added while touring the Kingdom: "Our trip to Saudi Arabia has begun to turn into the biggest nightmare... starting with car rental... We have been here for more than an hour."

While another tourist appeared, saying: "I felt that it was a continuous cycle of problems... There are countries that do not have a tourism infrastructure and are trying to embrace it."

He pointed out that "this country is trying to attract a lot of tourists and they are madly marketing to visit them." The foreign tourist stated that "this place is very confusing because it is an important tourist center, but it is very dirty, and walking in these lanes is very confusing."

At the end of the video, they said: "It was a rather turbulent journey with many ups and downs... It can be said with confidence that we were not in a country where we saw so many different sides." They added, "During our quick trip, we found Saudi Arabia not ready for tourism. We faced many problems in many places."

The two tourists continued: "ATMs do not accept international cards... Literally everything is closed... We woke up to emails containing fraudulent messages."
