News - Yemen: The Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi called for taking care of the mobilization for the grand event on Rabi` al-Awwal 12, which marks the birth date of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and for taking care of those in need. He emphasized that the massive attendance on that day will send a warning message to the enemies of the Messenger of Allah, a warning highlighting that this Nation is continuing to strengthens its bond with its Prophet.

In his speech during the inauguration of the activities of the Prophet’s Birth, the Mawlid, on Tuesday, Sayyed Abdulmalik congratulated the sons of Yemen and Islamic Nation for the entrance of Rabi’ Al-Awwal.

The Leader stressed that "the Western anti-Islam attack seeks to offend its landmarks and symbols, including the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)," considering that the Western attack and the Takfiri trend are twins that move for common goals.

"The support of the Messenger of Allah in the face of his enemies who are fighting his message and directing abuse to him is a necessity of faith," Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed. "We must be present to confront the corrupting satanic war that seeks to separate the Nation from the principles of Islam."

The Leader explained that the negative movement of the takfiris combats the important religious occasions and describes them as heresy, foremost of which is the Prophet’s birth.

He pointed out that the takfiris consider the singular (glorifying) the Messenger of Allah as polytheism and unbelief. They build on it their hostile attitudes towards those who glorify the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Yemenis in Forefront of Concern for the Occasion:

“Our people are at the forefront of the Islamic peoples in their concern for the occasion of the Prophet’s birth, the way to revive it, and their massive presence in the main event,” Sayyed Abdulmalik said, stressing that the interest of our people is one of the manifestations of the noble hadith (faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni).

He pointed out that this occasion regained its presence in the Islamic arena in a number of countries after it was absent due to the activity of the takfiris.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Calls for Philanthropy, Mobilization, Large Presence:

Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed the importance of philanthropy at all times, but it should be more prominent during the Mawlid. He expressed his hope that there will be a wide activity on the educational and guidance level, leading to the grand event on the day of the birthday.

He called for attention to the mobilization for the big event on the 12th of Rabi` al-Awwal, because that crowd is a manifestation of veneration for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).

At the conclusion of his speech, the Leader of the Revolution emphasized that the massive attendance on the day of the birthday sends a warning message to the enemies of the Messenger of Allah that this Nation strengthens its connection with the Greatest Messenger.

Despite their harsh living conditions caused by the years-long Saudi war and siege, thousands of Yemenis fill the streets of the capital Sana'a and thirteen other cities to celebrate the Prophet Mohammad's birth anniversary every year.

Yemenis used to gather to send a message to the world that Islam is the religion of peace and so its prophet. They call on other Muslim Nations to mark this day to renew their loyalty to the prophet Mohammad.

Such ceremonies include various cultural and religious events like reciting verses from Holy Quran.

Dressed in green, the color of peace and mercy, Yemenis celebrate the birth of the prophet Mohammad which is a great blessing for the whole of humanity. People in Yemen say Muslims around the world should follow the footsteps of the Prophet and stand against the enemies of Islam.
