Warning US-Saudi Aggression, Defense Minister Says No One Can to Confront Yemeni Missiles, Drones

News - Yemen: Defense Minister Major General Mohamed Nasser Al -Atefi renewed warning of the forces supporting the aggression against the continued siege, saying: "We will not hesitate for a moment to bomb sensitive and important goals that we put in the bank of our next goals."

The Minister of Defense explained that during the previous periods of truce, the aggression forces rearranged its tools politically and militarily and expanded the foreign military bases in the oil-rich areas in the eastern governorates to loot the Yemeni wealth.

He pointed out that this deployment comes within the framework of a hostile plan that includes keeping Yemen in a state of no peace and no war with the continuation of the suffocating siege and in a manner that achieves the intentions of the forces of aggression and increases the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Major General Al -Atefi said: "These hostile practices contradict the will of our people, and their national options in achieving freedom, sovereignty, unity and independence and cannot be continued and should be removed quickly politically or militarily”.

"We do not talk haphazardly, we deal seriously with challenges and threats that the aggressors insist on and we will respond with the highest degree of national, military and professional responsibility," he said.

Warning the US-Saudi aggression, he said: "We will make the screams of the aggressors reach the most extent and no one will be able to confront our missiles and drones by land, sea and air," adding: "We have prepared our capabilities and our forces on this strategic military decision, so do not test our patience."

The minister pointed out that the western and Zionist threats in the regional waters of Yemen are a blatant military intervention, stressing that Yemen will respond to these threats strongly in accordance with the contents and provisions of the recognized international laws.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces are committed to this before the Yemeni people first. It will work in accordance with international laws and covenants that guarantee all the sovereignty of their homelands and the dignity of their peoples, and prevent domination and guardianship over others,” he added.

The minister praised the high combat efforts and the level of vigilance for the Armed Forces, led by the rocketry forces and drones in implementation of the directives of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Mahdi Al -Mashat, in response to the aggression.

A UN-brokered truce lasted for six months in the seven-year-old war waged by Saudi Arabia and its regional allies supported by US and western countries against Yemen.

The truce, however, expired on Sunday amid the Saudi-led coalition’s constant violations of the agreement and its refusal to properly lift a siege that it has been enforcing against Yemen since the beginning of the war.

The US-Saudi aggression, with UN complicity, is still evading the implementation of humanitarian and legal entitlements, foremost of which is the paying employee salaries, which made Sana’a refuse to extend the temporary truce.

Sana’a insists on disbursing the salaries of all state employees in accordance with a transparent mechanism and from secure funding sources so that the exchange process does not stop months after the agreement. However, the Saudi-led aggression rejected this equitable demand for all Yemenis without exception.

The head of the National Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam censured the aggressor coalition for failing to renew the truce deal and deteriorating the humanitarian crisis in the country as a result of its intransigence and disavowal of measures that alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
