UN Envoy's Statement Justifies US-Saudi Aggression, Siege, Preventing Peace

Yemen: Over 10 days after Sanaa showed restraint and sought peace after the end of the truce; Because of the arrogance of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression against the people’s needs and rights, the forces of aggression, the United Nations and the international community, Thursday, closed all doors to achieving a just and honorable peace.

Meanwhile, the international mediator has become, in a scandalous manner, into a spokesperson who expresses the policies of aggression and its arrogance, but with a humanitarian and political cover, which is causing the situation to explode more than ever.

Before the "United Nations Security Council", the UN mediator and the international community returned with false testimonies and false briefings that are supposed to be avoided at this time, in order to spare the arrogant enemy the dire consequences that it promised Sana'a, as the United Nations announced that the horizon for calm opportunities was blocked, but it strived to hide the identity of the culprit.

By its envoy’s briefing, he exercised a political and humanitarian maneuver in order to recycle logic and truth to transform legitimate and just demands into impossible conditions! While he used its humanitarian and political "paint" in that briefing to whitewash the escalator clauses that the aggression and its tools brought as response issues, although they are nothing more than attempts to break up the demands.

In his briefing to the Security Council, the UN envoy said, "Unfortunately, the parties did not reach an agreement on the extension and expansion of the truce, which created a state of uncertainty and increased the risks of a renewed outbreak of war in the country."

However, he concealed the reasons for the blockage of the peace, among the most prominent of these is the non-commitment of the aggression countries to open flights from Sanaa airport to the two agreed destinations, as well as the continuation of piracy on fuel ships and the disavowal of the payment of salaries, which is the basic condition under which the truce was extended for two months from last August 2 until the second of this month.

In the context of “briefing the declaration of bias,” the UN mediator boldly obscured the political and humanitarian image of the international community and manipulated the conditions for blocking the paths of peace, by thanking the countries of aggression and the pro-aggression government for agreeing to the proposal he put forward after they formulated, submitted and adhered to.

On the other hand, he accused the national government that announced its three just conditions in public, that it did not respond to his proposal, which he sees as a means for peace, which is the same vision that the aggression and its sponsors and tools for peace see.

In attempts to hide the fact, the envoy claimed in his briefing that the flights to and from Sanaa airport took place according to what had been agreed upon, despite his acknowledgment two weeks ago that the agreed-upon flights to Cairo had not been implemented; Because the latter ignored the demands.

He also claimed that the fuel ships sailed regularly, ignoring the piracy against four oil ships that are still being detained, although they are still among the number agreed upon in the truce entitlements.

He tried to exaggerate his achievement of entering certain quantities of ships, saying: "The truce has provided more than 1.4 million metric tons of fuel products through the ports of Hodeidah, which is three times more than the amount of oil products that entered in the whole of 2021."

By this statement, he admitted the blockade imposed on the port of Hodeidah and the fuel ships, even though the Stockholm Agreement criminalizes that piracy. He also blew up all the false UN testimonies that he and his predecessors presented during the past periods, claiming that the fuel ships were regularly in force before the truce.

The UN envoy concluded his false briefing by thanking the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for considering it a mediator and not a major party in the war, and thus concluded all the evidence that confirms that the United Nations has become one of the main elements on which the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression alliance is based in the context of practicing all forms of brutality and aggression against the Yemeni people.
