US-Zionists Extending Military Conflict in Red Sea to Control Yemens' Islands

Yemen:   Political sources revealed serious Zionist-US tendencies regarding the Yemeni islands located in the Red Sea, aiming to fully control the Bab al-Mandab strait.

The sources confirmed that the Zionist entity, in coordination with the US Navy and with Saudi and Emirati funding, is working to push Eritrean forces towards the Yemeni islands with the aim of creating a new military conflict in the Red Sea that leads to the internationalization of the Yemeni islands.

The sources reported that the plan aims to completely control the Yemeni islands, and deploy international forces there under the pretext of keeping peace and securing international navigation at the southern entrance to the Red Sea, “the Bab al-Mandab Strait.”

The sources indicated that the Zionist entity instructed the Eritrean naval forces to move militarily along the Yemeni coasts and islands to the Bab al-Mandab strait starting from the port of Assab, which became a station for the Emirati-Zionist military supplies to the UAE militants in the port of Mocha, west of Taiz governorate, in addition to the two islands of Mayon in the Bab al-Mandab strait and Socotra is in the Indian Ocean.

Eritrea had signed a security cooperation agreement with the Zionist entity in February 1996, granting Mossad freedom of movement within the Eritrean regions, and nominating 3 military bases for the Zionist entity inside Eritrea, in Jabal Hamed and Jabal Mahklawi in western Eritrea, and Haqr mountain in northern Eritrea.

Allowing an Israeli military presence on the islands of the “Dahlak” archipelago, the “Daqmahari” base in the Eritrean plateau, the “Marinai” island in “Massawa”, the “Ras Santiyat” island, the “Fatima” island, and the “Halib” island, not to mention the intense Zionist intelligence presence inside Eritrea and its border with Sudan, have been shown since the agreement.

Eritrea designated one of those bases as a military port to provide services to the Zionist navy and Israeli submarines, as reported by Western sources armed with nuclear-tipped missiles, and the second base for wiretapping and spying on sensitive areas overlooking Bab al-Mandab.

The Zionist entity has completed its largest military observatory in the Red Sea basin, and in the most important strategic area inside Eritrea overlooking the Bab al-Mandab region.

It was erected at the highest mountain peak, known as the “Amba Suera” summit, near the city of Sanafi, located 135 km south of the Eritrean capital Asmara, at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level, with the aim of monitoring the strategic Bab al-Mandab area and ensuring that it does not turn into a threat to Zionism’s interests in the southern Red Sea, in addition to providing military support to the US-Saudi aggression that has been waging war on Yemen since March 26, 2015.
