Armed Forces Announce Warning Strike Against Ship Looting Oil, in Hadramout

News - Yemen: Yemens' Armed Forces announced in a military statement, Friday, that an oil ship violated a decision issued by the authorities to ban the transfer and export of Yemen's oil.

Brigadier Sare'e explained that the warning message came to prevent the continuous looting of oil wealth and not to allocate it to serve the people in salaries dispersement and services.

He pointed out that the message was after addressing the ship operators and informing it of the decision based on the Yemen laws in force and international laws, pointing out that the ship was dealt "with cautionary measures through which the Yemens' Armed Forces were keen to preserve the safety and security of Yemen's infrastructure and the security of the ship and its crew."

The Armed Forces spokesman renewed the warning by saying: "We will not hesitate to do what it takes to stop and prevent any ship trying to plunder the wealth of our Yemeni people," stressing that our armed forces - with God's help - are able to launch more warning operations in defense of our great people and to protect their wealth from tampering and looting.

It is noteworthy that the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, in his speech on the 8th anniversary of the September 21 revolution, warned against continuing to plunder the national wealth from any foreign company that colludes with the coalition of aggression.

In turn, President Mahdi Al-Mashat directed the Supreme Economic Committee, on the first of this October, to edit the final official correspondences of all companies and entities related to the looting of Yemeni sovereign wealth, to completely stop looting operations, starting from in the evening on Sunday of October.

Last Tuesday, President Al-Mashat directed the Supreme Economic Committee to allow the tanker (HANA) to enter and dock at Bir Ali port in Shabwa governorate, as the said tanker will transport a shipment to the Aden Governorate power station.

On March 11, the Armed Forces announced the 1st Siege-breaking Operation in response to US-Saudi escalation, siege, preventing entry of fuel ships, targeting the Saudi Aramco refinery in Riyadh, Aramco facilities in Jizan, Abha, and other sensitive sites.

The US-Saudi-Emirati aggression has lately ramped up its airstrikes against various regions across Yemen, tightening the siege and preventing the entry of Fuel tankers.

In response to the continued escalation of aggression, three operations were carried out named ‘Yemen hurricane’ targeting Saudi and UAE depth with ballistic missiles and drones.

Saudi Arabia launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, leading a military campaign consisting of its regional allies, including the UAE.

The kingdom estimated at the beginning of the war that it would come out victorious within just a few weeks. However, the war continued for seven years, leaving hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displacing millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
