People of UAE-Saudi Occupied Southern Governorates Support ‘Warning Strike’ Against Looting Yemeni Oil

Yemen:   The warning strike to stop the looting of Yemeni crude oil that targeted the port of Al-Dhaba, received wide support from the Yemeni people specially in the occupied southern governorates.

The warning strike expressed the popular well for Yemenis to obtain their rights during the cut of salaries since the end of 2016, while selling Yemeni crude oil with cost of more than 14 billion dollars during the period between 2016-2021, which are supplied to the National Bank of Saudi Arabia.

The warning strike targeting the oil tanker NISSOS KEA, which was in the process of looting nearly 2 million barrels of crude oil from the PetroMasila fields through the Dabba oil port, proved that the Yemeni government in Sana’a is going to impose sovereignty on all Yemeni lands unconditionally, and end the occupation project and the plunder of the sovereign wealth of oil and gas.

The “Yemen Press Agency” monitored some of the reactions in support of the operation issued by a number of activists from the people of the southern governorates on Twitter, where activists confirmed that a group of people from Hadhramaut gathered in front of a popular cafe in the Al-Dis neighborhood in the city of Mukalla, to follow up on the news about the ship’s warning.

They showed joy and danced happily as the tanker did not plunder crude oil from the Dabba port.

The writer and political analyst Abbas Al-Dhalea published, after the Armed Forces spokesman announced the warning strike operation on his Twitter account, by saying: “After the Dabba port operation, the European Union and the US will turn to deal with the Sana’a government as the decision maker in Yemen, and Saudi Arabia and UAE regimes will be subject to all the conditions of Sanaa.”

Al-Dhalea added that the salaries of employees and retired civilians and military will be disbursed, thanks to Sanaa.

For his part, the former leader of the “Southern Resistance,” Adel al-Hasani, mocked: “the strike revealed the mercenaries who are benefited of the Dhaba oil and received salaries, as they shout from everywhere, while the Yemeni people die of hunger and poverty, and their wealth is plundered and distributed to these thieves.”

In a related context, Muhammad Laqqum al-Shabwani supported the implementation of the military operation, saying: “We, the sons of Shabwa, Hadramawt and al-Mahra, support and bless the operations carried out by the Ministry of Defense in Sana’a against thieves and pirates in the eastern ports of Yemen.”

Hadrami activist Hamad Bakhshwin wrote on his account: “The oil port of Al-Dhaba in Hadramout since 2016 has been selling crude oil to Western countries, most notably Greece.”

Bakhshwin said: “We are with every free man who will preserve the wealth of our country, whether the Houthis or others,” adding Al-Houthi has proven today that he is the decision-maker over every inch of Yemeni geography.

Political analyst and southern leader in the Congress Party, Yasser Al-Yamani called for more strikes to prevent the looting of Yemeni crude oil.
