Saad Al-Jabri Appealing to Renew His Case against Ben Salman in US Courts

News - Middle East: Former Saudi security advisor Saad al-Jabri has appealed a case he brought against Mohammed bin Salman, who had previously accused him of being killer with infinite resources.

"Al-Jabri appealed the decision of the Washington court regarding the lack of jurisdiction of the American judiciary over the case against bin Salman," American media said.

On September 30, 2022, the Court of First Instance indicated that the case was not within the jurisdiction of the US judiciary, and should be transferred to Canada.

US court has rejected a lawsuit by Al-Jabri against Mohammed bin Salman accusing him of ordering his killer in Canada.

"Saad had failed to prove that the Kelly Court in Washington had jurisdiction in the case," the British “Middle East Eye” website said that Judge Timothy Kelly said.

American newspaper said that bin Salman's lawyer had reached a dead end with the failure of their efforts to prosecute Al-Jabri in America and Canada.

The British "Middle East Eye" website had published a report highlighting Al-Jabri's victory in an order of evidence against Ibn Salman.

Recently, A former Saudi intelligence official has broke his silence for the first time since his escape from the kingdom in 2017, describing his country's Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, as a "psychopath killer", before accusing him of bragging about poisoning the late Saudi King, Abdullah bin Salman.

"I am here to sound the alarm about a psychopath, killer, in the Middle East with infinite resources, who poses threat to his people, to the Americans and to the planet," Saad Al-Jabri told CBS television’s “60 Minutes” show.

He revealed that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MBS, once boasted that he could murder then-Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in 2014.

Saad al-Jabri said he knows of a video in which MBS bragged that he had “a poison ring from Russia” that could kill Abdullah by shaking his hand.

MBS’s father, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, assumed power following the death of King Abdullah in 2015.

Al-Jabri, who fled to Canada in 2017 after MBS gained power, worked for a long time under former crown prince and interior minister, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, an elder cousin and former rival of bin Salman.
