The council denounced the pro-aggression government's continued signing of suspicious loan agreements, wasting the wealth of the Yemeni people, and tampering with their interests and capabilities.
It considered this arbitrary measure a crime added to the series of crimes and conspiracies committed by US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries within the framework of war crimes and siege targeting the lives of the people.
The Parliament members affirmed that such an arbitrary measure harms the movement of internal trade in the various governorates and increases the rates of poverty and famine among citizens.
They demand for UN, humanitarian and international organizations to meet its responsibilities and carry out its duties to stop this arbitrary measure and plundering the wealth of the Yemeni people.
The Parliament also condemned the criminal bombing that targeted worshipers in Al-Ziyar Mosque, west of the coast of Hadramout, killing seven and wounding 22 others.
Yesterday In a statement, the Council denounced this unfortunate criminal act that claimed the lives of a number of innocent people who were safe in the mosque while they were performing Friday prayers.
The statement pointed out that this act came in light of the security chaos, unstable conditions, and suspicious movements of the aggression coalition forces in the southern governorates.
The council's statement called on the people of Hadramout province to realize the dangers of the conspiracies against Yemen by the US-Saudi coalition, stressing that the Yemeni people reject such criminal acts that are alien to their values, principles and morals and are inconsistent with the teachings of the true Islamic religion and all human norms.
The statement held the forces of aggression and their mercenaries morally responsible for the consequences of such criminal acts that threaten security and social peace in the province.
The Shura Council statement expressed sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the martyrs and to the Minister of Expatriates, Muhammad Al-Mashjari, who lost 6 of his relatives in this criminal act, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
It is not the only destroyed mosque that the aggression has targeted in the past eight years. In a document released last month, a rights group has published the number of killed and injured by the US-Saudi aggression and number of destroyed mosques in the past 2600 days.
According to Eye of Humanity Center (Ain al-Insiyah Center) for Human Rights and Development, 46,374 civilians, including nearly 14,000 women and children were killed and injured as a result of the direct bombing of homes, schools and markets.
During the 2600 days of the aggression, it said that about 1,622 mosques were destroyed by the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries.
Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.
The US-Saudi aggression continues to target neighborhoods and populated areas and destroy the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.
The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
