Bin Zayed Attracts Cyber Experts to Enhance UAE’s Intelligence Capabilities

News - Middle East: The "Intelligence Online" website said that the Emirati National Security Adviser, "Tahnoun bin Zayed",is strengthening his capacities via his firm Royal Technology Solutions by hiring cyber intelligence experts experienced in dealing with Emirati state entities.

This company belongs to the Royal Group, and is part of his private holding company International Holding Co (IHC).

The company is now recruiting and attracting former executives of the Emirati DarkMatter company as well, according to the report.

RTS has also drawn in several employees from local Connection Systems, many of whom previously worked at DarkMatter.

According to the “The Intercept” website, RTS was founded by DarkMatter’s former CFO, Samer Khalifa, to resettle its American employees after its ties to the US government were exposed.

To lead the RTS, Tahnoun bin Zayed invited a trusted acquaintance, Saeed Hashemi.

Over the past decade, Hashemi has run several technology companies in the IHC empire, including Mauqah Technology, which also has offices in Pakistan, Marstech Holding and Aqmartech Holding, according to Intelligence Online.

Hashemi also oversaw acquisitions of foreign technologies, with a focus on electronic intelligence, both for the National Security Adviser and for other clients such as Abu Dhabi Police and electronic communications services provider and projects (formerly Etisalat).

Internal emails leaked by the Italian group Hacking Team show that Al-Hashemi orchestrated the purchase and use of spyware via Mauqah.

The UAE opens the doors of normalization and treachery wide, Israeli spy companies are expanding their activities through an Emirati portal in light of the Abu Dhabi regime's involvement in piracy and surveillance investments with Israeli technologies.

The latest evidence of this is what was revealed regarding the activities of the Israeli monitoring company, Voyager Labs, which has a regional headquarters in the UAE.

The activities of the aforementioned company were revealed after Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, filed a lawsuit against the Israeli company, accusing it of using 10,000s fake accounts and advanced tracking tools to secretly collect data of about 600,000 users on Facebook and Instagram.

According to The Guardian, Meta has sued to block the Israeli company from using Facebook and Instagram to collect data without distinguishing between the type of user, his needs, or the nature of his monitored interests, which could lead to a violation of civil rights.

Meta's lawsuit states that Facebook removed 38,000 fake accounts created by the Israeli company, which used monitoring software that uses fake accounts to collect data from Twitter, YouTube and Telegram as well as Facebook and Instagram users.

The lawsuit, which Meta filed after discovering the case in July 2022, is an additional step in Facebook's war on what it calls digital espionage and the surveillance industry.

In contrast to the offensive cyber domain that the Israeli enemy is supervising and selling to other countries, led by the UAE, just as happened with the Pegasus program, many Israeli smart technology companies are no longer controversial and are still not subject to censorship.

The UAE's use of Israeli hacking and espionage programs and tools was exposed by many specialized organizations and newspapers many years ago. The international organization, Citizen Lab, said that the UAE had obtained a special Israeli spying tool and used it against its opponents in Yemen.

Israeli spy programs and penetration systems have become available to the Abu Dhabi regime without any limits, to be used to spy against opponents of its war and crime, and to pursue its opponents with the aim of liquidating and silencing them.
