Saudi Arabia among 10 Worst Countries in world in Public Rights

News - World: The Canadian “Fraser” Institute ranked Saudi Arabia among the 10 worst countries in the world in the field of public rights, in a new scandal for the Saudi regime based on tyranny.

The index issued by the institute showed a decline in the human freedom index in Saudi Arabia during 2022, Due to the increasing coercive restrictions, the fragility of the law, the prohibition of civil associations, and the suppression of freedom of expression.

The index also ranked Saudi Arabia 159th in the Human Freedom Index in 2022, out of 165 countries worldwide.

The index also ranked the Kingdom 15th in the Middle East and North Africa, in light of the growing deterioration of public rights in the Kingdom.

The index monitored the continued decline of civil freedom in Saudi Arabia during 2022, which amounted to 1.2 degrees.

It pointed to the deterioration of media freedom and access to information in Saudi Arabia during 2022, which amounted to 1.3 degrees.

According to the index, the degree of human rights in Saudi Arabia during 2022 amounted to 4.56, while the degree of personal freedom in the Kingdom did not exceed 2.98, and it is ranked 163 in the world.

The degree of economic freedom in Saudi Arabia during 2022, it reached 6.78, ranked 86th in the world.

Recently, Saudi Arabia has executed 81 prisoners in a single day over "terror-related offenses," in the largest mass execution carried out by the highly-conservative Arab kingdom in recent memory.

In an announcement on Saturday, the state-run Saudi Press Agency said 81 inmates, including seven Yemenis and a Syrian, were executed, alleging that the suspects had been convicted of a variety of crimes, including killings and belonging to militant groups.

The mass execution in Saudi Arabia has drawn a strong wave of condemnation from various Islamic and Saudi opposition groups, which say most of those executed were jailed only for exercising their right to free expression of opinion.
