Yemen: The Yemeni security agencies have made a major security achievement, further accumulating their victories in thwarting enemy intelligence plans.

Today, the Yemeni security agencies announced the foiling of a hostile plot involving British and Saudi intelligence. This success is just as significant as the military achievements the Yemeni Armed Forces have made in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad. Through this battle, the forces have continuously targeted deep Israeli positions, striking American aircraft carriers, warships, and fleets in the Red and Arabian Seas.

The Yemeni security agencies were able to foil hostile activities of the British Intelligence Agency (MI6) and Saudi intelligence in the capital, Sana’a, after capturing the most dangerous espionage network during December 2024, which had been working for the enemy.

Due to the West's lack of information and intelligence that would allow them to target leadership in Sana’a, and to prevent Yemen from carrying out its religious and moral duties in supporting the Palestinian people through military operations in the Red Sea and deep within Israeli territory in response to the crimes in Gaza, the British intelligence agency (MI6), in coordination with Saudi intelligence, recruited and trained mercenary spies. Their goal was to create a "target bank," monitor and surveil missile and drone sites, military and security locations, and the homes and movements of certain state leaders.

According to confessions from members of the espionage network, which were revealed by the security and intelligence apparatus, Riyadh was the site for recruitment operations, where spies were given technical evaluations and months of professional training in surveillance, information gathering, and the use of espionage tools and techniques.

The confessions from the arrested spies also revealed their allegiance to MI6, one of the most dangerous intelligence agencies in the world, which plays a significant role in targeting regional populations and infiltrating Arab and Islamic systems.

So, what is MI6?

The British Intelligence Agency (MI6) is one of the oldest intelligence agencies in the world, founded on October 1, 1909, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Its first director was Sir Mansfield Smith-Cumming.

One of the main goals of MI6 is to recruit and employ thousands of spies and agents from various countries, particularly those where Britain does not have influence or control, such as Yemen. The agency faces ongoing criticism for its failure to protect Britain from groups that pose significant threats to London, such as extremist, takfiri groups.

MI6 operates under the Foreign Office and is responsible for collecting intelligence, conducting covert operations outside the country's borders, and protecting the interests of the United Kingdom.

In September 2017, British Defense Minister Michael Fallon and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed an agreement for military and security cooperation, focusing on joint coordination in defense, as well as discussing regional developments and efforts to combat terrorism.

According to British law, the operations of MI6 are defined as follows:

• The ability to monitor through special permits with strict oversight.
