Human Rights Condemns Position of US-Saudi Mercenaries Towards the Yemeni Residents in Sudan

News - Yemen: The Ministry of Human Rights denounced the US-Saudi mercenaries's stance towards the Yemeni Residents in Sudan.

In a statement, the ministry expressed its dissatisfaction with the US-Saudi mercenaries's failure to evacuate them, and its willful disregard for the difficult conditions they live in as a result of the fighting in Sudan.

The statement helds the US-Saudi aggression and its tools responsible for the dangers Yemen's students are exposed to, and deliberately underestimating their lives and conditions, and obstructing their safe return to Yemen.

The Ministry of Human Rights stated that the most prominent causes of suffering for the Yemeni community in Sudan are the persistence of restrictions imposed by the US-Saudi aggression on Sana'a airport, and the international stances towards humanitarian issues.

Earlier, a number of Yemeni students in Sudan have renewed their appeal to the “pro-aggression government” to evacuate them from Khartoum, in defiance of what many Arab and foreign countries have done.

The students confirmed that they have been stuck in their homes since the start of the bloody events in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and they called for an urgent return to Yemen.

The students explained that the situation in Sudan is completely unstable, which poses a threat to their lives.

The students pointed out that the embassy did not respond to them in sheltering them in the embassy.

Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, France, Britain, and the US have launched operations to evacuate their citizens from Sudan which has entered its second week of the conflict: with clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces burgeoning all across the country.

This comes after fighting in Sudan's capital entered a second week Saturday as crackling gunfire shattered the temporary 72-hour truce, marking the latest battles between forces of rival generals that have already left hundreds dead and thousands wounded.

On Saturday morning, bursts of gunfire resumed after the heavy explosions that had previously rocked the city in recent days had calmed down overnight.
