Yemen: Amid the division of the tools of the US-Saudi coalition in the occupied southern Yemeni governorates, the European Union appears positioned in Hadramout. This is one of the manifestations of Western ambitions, after decades of long pretending to support the territorial unity of Yemen.

The statements that come out of the consultation halls show a repetition of the idea that Hadramout can begin to act as a region separate from the center, claiming that it is to confront the UAE-backed transitional council, but not justified for the principle of confronting the partition project.

What is not new is the European and American interest in issuing British-French statements playing on what it calls self-determination, without going back to the international commitment to recognizing Yemen as a unified state.

This comes in addition to the British and American presence in the arena extending from Hadramout to Al-Mahra, in addition to the maritime movements, as the maritime area has become permissible for the American and British presence under the pretext of combating smuggling, and at other times to confront terrorism.

The equation of wealth protection imposed by Sana’a through the Air Force and the use of drones and missiles, contributed greatly to stopping oil theft and smuggling via ships carrying the flags of Asian countries. Later, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stressed on the anniversary of Sarkha in the face of arrogance about expanding the circle of protection

At a time when the Western European and American powers began to use the division card more than ever, after they failed to pass the region's project within the agendas of the national dialogue and through its approval in the new constitution.

The gradual publication of the division paper by supporting the movement of the tools is at the core of the political leadership's interest, and the statements of the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, are an indication that the Western game is monitored.

Recently, Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan said that "there is no Saudi response until the moment to resolve the humanitarian situation after the Ramadan negotiations," pointing out that estimates indicate that they are trying to gain time, 

The Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Jalal Al-Ruwaishan added that The ongoing negotiations with the Saudi side, mediated by Oman, in their current situation, remain attempts to achieve peace, which were met positively by Sana’a.

Al-Ruwaishan said in a statement to Al-Masirah that he his hopes that Saudi Arabia would realize that economic development plans could not be combined with the invasion of a neighboring country. He stressed that Sana'a has the ability to militarily impact Saudi ports and the flow of investments, indicating that the Yemeni Armed Forces had previously carried out operations in this direction.

He pointed out that the Yemeni armed forces, from the first moment began to restore their capabilities.

On the subject of dividing Yemen, Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan said: We hear an international discourse that stands with Yemen's unity and independence, but actions on the field indicate otherwise, stressing that the division project is an indication of the aggression countries' endeavor to complicate the Yemeni scene and gain negotiating points in the face of Sana'a.
