The conflict between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi to control the regions of southern and eastern Yemen may push the economic situation in the country towards further escalation. The leaks indicate that Saudi Arabia is seeking to bring about a complete change in the entity of the leadership loyal to the coalition in Yemen. This issue is opposed by Abu Dhabi , for fear that the change of Moeen Abdul Malik will open the doors to replacing the “Presidential Leadership Council” of which most of its members are loyal to the UAE.
