Yemeni People Are Still Suffering from US-Imposed Blockade: National Military Committee

News - Yemen: Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi affirmed Sunday the keenness of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to move towards peace in order to achieve security and stability for Yemen and the region.

In a meeting with the military advisor to the United Nations representative to Yemen, General Antony Hayward, Al-Ezzi pointed to the support of the National Military Committee to accomplish UN’s tasks in the event that the other parties showed their seriousness for peace represented first by solving the humanitarian issue.

For his part, the deputy head of the military committee, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Deif, reviewed, in a separate meeting with the military advisor, in the presence of the members of the committee, the field developments, violations and hostilities committed by US-Saudi mercenaries on the frontlines.

He pointed out that the humanitarian issue has not witnessed any tangible steps, and the Yemeni People are still suffering from the blockade in all its forms, expressing hope that the coalition of aggression will prove its seriousness in peace because time is passing and it is not in the interest of all.

Brigadier General Al-Deif stressed that the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council and the Supreme Military Command have proven to all that they are keen about achieving just peace.

He noted that the progress in resolving the humanitarian issues represented in the disbursement of salaries from oil and gas revenues and the opening of airports and ports without restrictions will contribute to the progress of the military issue.

During the meeting, some of the hostile acts carried out by the countries of aggression and their mercenaries, which are contrary to human rights and international humanitarian law, were presented.
