News - Yemen: The so-called “parliamentary fact-finding committee” of the mercenaries of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression has acknowledged the large-scale corruption operations practiced by the pro-aggression government and its leaders.

It emphasized that the country's resources and wealth are exposed to great and clear tampering, looting and waste, despite attempts to cover it up through the deliberate withholding of data and information. This reveals once again the truth of the scandalous role played by mercenaries in depriving Yemenis of their rights and doubling their suffering with the support of the countries of aggression.

Massive Corruption in Oil Sector:

The report issued by the committee confirmed that the mercenary government is practicing major corruption in the oil sector, including conducting “illegal” deals to buy oil derivatives. It indicated that the purchase takes place without bids, and that there are “ Huge differences in prices and huge imbalances in specifications.”

It noted that the pro-aggression Ministry of Oil imported quantities of fuel that “do not conform to specifications; This led to the suspension of many stations and putting them out of work.”

The report added that there is also corruption of taxes and fees on fuel shipments imported by the mercenary government.

Financial Resources:

In a related context, the report of the so-called "Parliamentary Committee" confirmed that the mercenary authorities in the occupied governorates are seizing the revenues of those governorates and do not supply them to the bank; Which clearly means looting those resources and dealing with them as private expenses for mercenary officials.

The report emphasized that the central bank in Aden is unable to play any role in addressing the collapse of the local currency. 

Electricity: a Black Hole Swallows Public Money:

Regarding the corruption of the mercenary government in the electricity sector, the report of the so-called “Parliamentary Committee” said: The sector has turned into a “black hole to swallow public money as a result of widespread corruption,” explaining that last year the government allocated 569 billion riyals as a budget for electricity without the budget of the institution and what is called “ Saudi oil derivatives grant. 

However, the result was an increase in the disability rate to 75%, 80% of the generation system went out of work, and the rate of electricity shutdown reached 18 hours a day; This doubled the suffering of the citizens in the occupied governorates, especially in Aden, which is witnessing a very hot summer.
