The Yemeni scholars emphasized in a statement the importance of awareness that any violation of the honor and dignity of Muslim women in Palestine is a grave sin that must be condemned, and strong action must be taken against such crimes.
They stressed the importance of following in the footsteps of the Yemeni People and the resistance movement in mobilizing for jihad and strengthening hostility towards the enemy, preparing for battle, and purifying the blessed land from its defilement. They also emphasized the need to support the free men and women of Palestine through media advocacy, as well as providing military and financial support to jihad and resistance movements.
Israeli soldiers are revealed to have forced Palestinian women to strip naked during a raid in the West Bank in July, threatening to release attack dogs on them if they refused.
According to a report by the Israeli news outlet, Haaretz, Israeli forces conducted an early morning raid on the home of the Palestinian Ajluni family in south Hebron back in July, waking a total of 26 people in the household, including 15 children aged from 4 months to 17 years old.
While male soldiers searched the male family members without requiring them to take off their clothes, female soldiers took the women of the family into a room at separate times and forced them to strip naked. According to the women, the soldiers threatened to set dogs on the women if they resisted, and sometimes released the dogs close to the women in an effort to scare them into complying.
Scholars Condemn Opening Embassy for Zionist Entity in Bahrain
Elsewhere in the statement, the scholars condemned the oppressive and treacherous Bahraini regime for opening an embassy for the Zionist entity, which confirms its collaboration and betrayal of the Ummah's causes and sanctities. They emphasized the sanctity of normalization and the opening of any embassy for the enemy in any Islamic country, considering rushing into normalization and opening embassies for it as hypocrisy and explicit loyalty.
The Yemeni scholars association also emphasized the need for popular action and pressure on collaborating regimes to expel ambassadors of the Zionist entity and close its embassies. They also called on intellectuals, academics, and religious scholars to fulfill their responsibilities and take effective and serious action to overthrow projects of collaboration and subservience to Jews and Christians.
The association warned all collaborating regimes with Zionists of divine wrath, emphasizing the importance of uniting the ranks of jihad and resistance movements, aligning their words, directing their weapons and the energy of their youth against the Zionist entity.
On Monday, Israeli foreign minister Eli Cohen attended an official ceremony to open the diplomatic mission during a visit to the Bahraini capital of Manama, which included a delegation of businessmen and regime officials.
The ceremony was attended by Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif al-Zayani, who said the “new embassy assumes a pivotal role” in growing collaboration between the two sides.
The embassy in Manama will replace the first mission Israel opened in 2021, a year after establishing diplomatic relations with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates as part of the United States-brokered Abraham Accords.
Sudan and Morocco followed suit later in the year and inked similar deals.
The move sparked widespread condemnations from the Palestinians as well as nations and human rights advocates across the globe, especially within the Muslim world.
Palestinians say the deals are a treacherous “stab in the back” and a betrayal of their cause against the decades-long Israeli occupation.
Scholars Condemn Kidnapping, Torture of Citizen in Taiz
Meanwhile, the Yemeni Scholars Association condemned the brutal torture inflicted on Abdul Baqi Mohammed Al-Jaashni in the occupied areas of Taiz Governorate, calling on the Yemeni people to be more aware of rumors and provocations targeting the internal front and diverting it from confronting the enemy.
On Monday, activists on social media platforms circulated a photo of Al-Jaashni being tortured inside one of the coalition camps in Taiz, southern Yemen.
Activists reported that Al-Jaashni was tied to a tree in Al-Misrakh district and brutally attacked by coalition recruits.
