News - Yemen: Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, member of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed on Tuesday that Yemen's operations against the ships of the Zionist enemy will continue, and the enemy bears the consequences of ignoring warnings issued by the Yemeni leadership.

He added that the Security Council should follow through on its decision to halt the war in Gaza and its previous resolutions regarding the Palestinian issue, none of which have been implemented.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Zubairi, the Minister of Fish Wealth in the caretaker government, informed Almasirah that the recent operation in Bab al-Mandab is a practical manifestation of the Revolutionary leader's pledge to support Palestine until the end.

Al-Zubairi stressed that preventing Zionist ships from navigating in the Arabian Sea is a new development for the enemy that must be taken into consideration. He further added that the responsibility necessitates Yemen's solidarity with Palestine, translating its support for the Palestinian cause into concrete actions.

He also noted that the recent operation in Bab al-Mandab has startled countries engaged in economic and commercial dealings with the Zionist enemy. Simultaneously, he highlighted that the decisions of the Security Council are steered by the United States and Britain, carrying no weight for Yemen. There's no reliance on the United Nations to achieve justice for Palestine.

Earlier in the day, Majdi Azam, the Islamic Jihad movement leader, affirmed that Yemen’s Armed Forces operations in the Red Sea mark a strategic victory for the resistance axis.

Azam stated to Al-Masirah network: "The operations in the Red Sea strike at the heart of the Israeli enemy's economy," highlighting that opening multiple fronts on land and sea confuses the Zionist enemy and expedites the end of the conflict.

He emphasized that Yemen represents a significant factor in the regional equation that the Israeli and American adversaries cannot surpass.

On his part, Muath Abu Shammala, the Hamas representative in Yemen, commented, "The multiple operations conducted by Yemeni forces underscore the Yemeni leadership's accurate perception of the gravity of the current phase."

Abu Shammala added that Yemeni operations demonstrate their earnestness in breaking the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip, affirming that the ongoing operations in the Red Sea hasten the end of Israeli-US aggression against Gaza.

The closure of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait to Israeli ships aims to terminate the aggression on the Gaza Strip, as confirmed by the Minister of Information, Daifallah Al-Shami.

The Yemeni naval operations in the Red Sea against the activities of Zionist enemy ships have cast a shadow over the economy of the temporary entity. 

Marine Traffic, a specialized website tracking maritime movement, indicated that no ships are expected to arrive at the Umm Al-Rashrash Port (Eilat) at present.

Meanwhile, the Zionist website Globes, specializing in economic affairs, revealed that the occupied Port of Eilat has completely ceased operations due to Yemeni threats.

According to the Hebrew website, port authorities stated that Yemeni threats are affecting all ships, whether passing through the Mediterranean Sea or arriving at Port Eilat.

Zionist officials at the port confirmed that almost no ships are visiting the port, noting that the port intends to lay off workers and close its gates due to reduced activity.

Moreover, the enemy's ships have been compelled to take the route through the Mediterranean Sea and circumnavigate the African continent to reach the Indian Ocean and Asian markets. This has led to increased maritime insurance costs for the enemy's ships.

In a statement, the Armed Forces reported that this morning, Naval Forces targeted two Israeli ships in the Bab-al-Mandeb Strait, identified as the Unity Explorer and the Number Nine ships.

The statement specified that the first Israeli ship was targeted using a naval missile, while a maritime drone was used to target the second ship.

The statement indicated that the action of targeting the two Israeli ships aligns with the directives of Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi and is a response to the calls from Yemeni people and the free people of the nation in support of Palestine.

The statement reaffirmed the commitment of the Yemeni Armed Forces to prevent Israeli ships from traversing the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the Israeli aggression against the people in the Gaza Strip is halted.

Additionally, the statement reiterated the warning to all Israeli ships or those associated with Israelis, cautioning them that they will be considered legitimate targets if they disregard the directives of the Yemeni Armed Forces.

Yemeni forces launched missile and drone attacks on targets in the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine after the aggression on Gaza began in early October.
