News - Yemen: Yemen's Parliament Speaker, Yahya Ali Al-Rae'e, has expressed admiration for the courageous stances taken by the Shura Council in Oman.

In a message to the Chairman of the Omani Shura Council, Khaled Al-Maawali, Al-Rae'e conveyed his gratitude for Oman's honorable positions, including the firm condemnation of the overt aggression against Yemen by Western powers, justified under the pretext of safeguarding commercial ships and maritime navigation.

"At the Parliament in Yemen, we highly value your government's stance toward the Yemeni people and their suffering as they reject domination, insist on their rights, defend their land and sovereignty, and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people," he stated.

On Saturday, the Grand Mufti of Oman, Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, affirmed that the brutal aggression of global arrogance against the authentic Arab Muslim Yemeni people has left an impact on every believer who feels the sincere brotherhood imposed by faith among believers. However, he added that their consolation lies in knowing that this will not weaken the determination of the sincere and steadfast Yemeni people engaged in jihad, nor will it deter them from continuing to support the truth and stand with their believing brothers.

Early on Friday, the American and British warplanes targeted with 73 missiles five regions of Yemen, including the capital Sana'a and the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, and Sa’adah, killing at least five people and wounding six others.

The US and UK launched a series of aerial and navy strikes against Yemen in response to the repeated attacks that Yemen conducted on Israeli-bounded ships in the Red Sea. The aggression was conducted with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Since the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza commenced in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

In recent actions, the Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships that have ties with Israel near Yemeni ports. On November 19, they intercepted and seized a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime.
