News - Yemen: Mohammed Abdulsalam, the head of the National Delegation, has affirmed that the continuation of the US-UK aggression against Yemen will not achieve any goals for the aggressors; instead, it will increase their dilemmas and problems at the regional level.

“Yemen’s decision to support Gaza is firm and principled and will not be affected by any attack," Abdulsalam stated in a post on his X account on Sunday.

He also emphasized that Yemen's military capabilities are not easily destroyed and have been rebuilt in light of harsh years of war.

Abdulsalam called on the US and the UK to adhere to international public opinion, which demands an immediate cessation of Israeli aggression and the lifting of the siege on Gaza, and to stop protecting Israel at the expense of the Palestinian people.

The head of the National Delegation reiterated that aggressive raids in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria would increase the hatred of the people and unite them against the American colonial presence in the region.

Late on Saturday, the US and UK executed new strikes on Yemen utilizing air and surface platforms, including fighter jets, with the backing of Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.

In solidarity with the Palestinians in besieged Gaza, Yemeni forces have targeted Israel-bound ships in the southern Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and even in the Arabian Sea.

In response to the pro-Palestine maritime campaign, the US and its allies have bombed Yemen in violation of the country’s sovereignty and international law.

The illicit attacks prompted Yemen to declare American and British vessels as legitimate targets for its armed forces.
