News - Yemen: The head of the National Delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, affirmed that Washington, which denied the genocide crimes against the Palestinian people, finds it easy to deny any connection to what is happening in the Red Sea regarding Gaza.

"American officials supported Israel in committing the worst crimes in Gaza, and when the world was shocked by the brutality against the Palestinian people, Washington did not hesitate to deny the occurrence of genocide crimes," said Abdulsalam on his X account on Sunday. "Those who do that find it easy to deny any connection to what is happening in the Red Sea with Gaza."

The Biden administration continues to deny any connections between the war in Gaza and the ongoing US-led aggression on Yemen. At a press conference on Wednesday, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby dismissed any link between Gaza and the US airstrikes on Yemen.

Over the past month, the Yemeni Armed Forces have been staging many strikes against Israeli vessels or those bound for the occupied Palestinian territories' ports.

The operations have been described as a response to the October 7-present war and siege that the Israeli regime has been waging against Gaza following an operation carried out by the Palestinian territory's resistance movements.

Around 27,300 Palestinians, some 70 percent of whom are women, children, and adolescents, have been killed in the brutal onslaught so far.

Over the past few weeks, the US and the UK have carried out numerous air attacks in various regions of Yemen, responding to the country's missile and drone assaults on vessels, either owned by Israel or en route to ports in the occupied Palestinian territories.
