News - Middle East: Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesman Brigadier General Ramadan Sharif affirmed on Saturday that the Yemeni people have disrupted the vital operations of the Zionist enemy.

Mehr News Agency quoted Brigadier General Sharif as saying, "Some countries and movements, especially Yemen, have stood out in support of the Palestinian people, making it challenging for the Zionist entity by blocking vital operations."

He added, "In this ongoing confrontation and the significant victory achieved by the Palestinian people so far, there are several crucial points for public opinion."

Brigadier General Sharif continued, stating, "The crimes of the Zionist entity have generated widespread public resentment. Now, with the discussion of their renewed attack on Rafah, public opinion has risen, and countries intend to have a more serious presence to condemn this crime."

He further noted, "In many countries worldwide, large crowds have gathered to support the Palestinian people, undoubtedly influencing their governments' decisions. One of the ongoing efforts of the Zionists is to manipulate media coverage regarding the Palestine issue."

Brigadier General Sharif asserted that the Zionists have faced condemnation in the court of world public opinion, and it is certain that judges will issue a decisive ruling in the world court condemning the Zionist entity.

"Some countries and movements, especially Yemen, have prominently supported Palestine, making them among the most prominent Arab countries backing the Palestinian people," he added. Simultaneously, he praised other movements and nations supporting Palestine, emphasizing that the world does not forget the actions of some Islamic countries rushing to normalize relations with the Zionist enemy entity.

"Despite all the pressures and restrictions that the resistance movement faces in Gaza and Palestine in the war against Zionism, it persists in its field battle with greater motivation and hope than in the past," he continued.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation, particularly intensified after Israel launched a devastating attack on Gaza on October 7. 

Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they would prevent the Israeli-bounded ships from moving through the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stopped and the siege was lifted. 

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until the relentless Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza cease. These offensives have resulted in the deaths of at least 28,858 people and injuries to over 68,677 others.
