Did Washington Deliberately Activate Daesh in Confrontation with Yemen?

Yemen:  Yemeni security agencies are aware that they are in confrontation with American and British intelligence, which deliberately aims to undermine the security aspect after failing to achieve any military success in breaking the Yemeni blockade imposed on the Red Sea and the Arab Sea on ships associated with the enemy entity, as well as American and British ships, which the Yemeni Armed Forces will target in response to the aggression by these two countries on Yemen.

In times of war, the army and security form a united front to counter any aggression. Preserving security, and stability, and securing the internal front are among the most important pillars upon which the army relies in facing external enemies and achieving victory. Regarding this, Colonel Abdulkhaliq Al-Ajri, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, says: "The enemy today does not bet on the sea because there is something more important to him, which is betting on the security of this country, because if security is disrupted internally, any country can easily be overrun, and as long as security is disrupted internally, no matter how weak the enemy, they can easily enter any country."

The security achievement in the pre-emptive operation in Al-Baidha province in central Yemen, which culminated in clearing the Khusha'a area of Daesh groups, which were on the verge of carrying out suicide operations in the capital Sana'a and some provinces, reveals that security is aware of the enemy's schemes and monitors the movements of its tools under various names, realizing that it is in confrontation "against America, Britain, and Israel."

In its statement on the operation, the security apparatus confirms that American and British intelligence "deliberately moved its tools from the Takfiri groups present in the Khusha'a area in Al-Baidha province to carry out criminal operations, the most prominent of which was the assassination operations against the people of the Hanaka Al Masoud area and its surroundings, and criminal operations that will be revealed in forthcoming details."

The statement explains that Washington and London's movement of Takfiri groups comes within the framework of the American and British aggression on Yemen, supporting the genocide crimes committed by the Zionist enemy, and because of Yemen's honorable positions and its responsibility in supporting the besieged Palestinian people.

Regarding the security war on Yemen, parallel to the military aggression of the US-Saudi coalition, in which Sana'a has achieved overwhelming victories, the Ministry of Interior spokesperson says, "Let us look at the past nine years, which represented the most wonderful images of security in this great nation in the liberated territories." Regarding the current battle with the US-British aggression, Al-Ajri adds, "Today, we need to secure our income and gather our ranks more than before. Today, we are facing confrontation against the Americans and Israelis."

Moreover, the Yemeni security experience during the past nine years of aggression and blockade has revealed that Washington uses Takfiri groups not as it claims to fight them. Before the September 21 revolution in 2014, when the system in Yemen was a partner with Washington in fighting so-called "terrorism," American forces were pouring into the capital Sana'a, and strategic areas in Yemen. Despite this, security was lax with the widespread presence of Al-Qaeda and Daesh groups in the country, even in the capital's neighborhoods adjacent to the US embassy.

According to official statistics, the assassinations between 2011 and 2014 exceeded 1,100 operations, and 23 smuggling operations were executed from prisons for members of the so-called Al-Qaeda and hundreds of convicted criminals under judicial sentences in the war.

Significantly, the heinous bombings such as the Badr and Al-Hashoosh mosques, and the activation of Takfiri groups to hit security, were the first options for striking the nascent revolution before the revolutionaries moved to pursue the Takfiris and cleanse the members of Al-Qaeda and Daesh fled in front of the army and popular committees at that time across the sea by boats from Aden, before those groups returned aboard American tanks and armored vehicles with the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression.

After the US "Marines" fled from Sana'a, security agencies found several camps for Takfiri groups in the vicinity of the capital, as well as hideouts, factories, and workshops for manufacturing explosives and car bombs in the capital and other areas, the results of which were the execution of hundreds of suicide operations, bombings, and attacks that claimed thousands of lives, even sovereign camps and facilities like the Ministry of Defense were not spared from the attacks.

This lax security situation before the September 21 revolution raised many questions about what America was doing in Yemen under the pretext of fighting "terrorism." However, the answer became clear during the years of the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen, when the invading coalition forces allied with mercenaries alongside Al-Qaeda and Daesh under the coalition banner in the battle. The leader of Al-Qaeda even declared that his group was fighting on "11 fronts" with the aggression against the Yemeni Armed Forces.

In a sensational scandal, security agencies found aid and weapons provided by the American Agency for International Development (USAID) to groups of Al-Qaeda and Daesh in areas in Al-Baidha liberated by the Yemeni army during the years of the aggression.
