News - Yemen: A child was killed, Tuesday, in explosion of cluster bomb dropped by US-Saudi aggression in the Razih district of Sa'adah province.

Almasirah net correspondent reported in the province explained that a bomb from the remnants of the US-Saudi aggression exploded in a farm in the Bani Rabea area in the border district of Razih, leading to the martyrdom of a child.

Sa'adah province continuously faces attacks, including missile and artillery shelling, and deliberate targeting of civilians by the Saudi forces, in light of the absence of any international or UN action.

Various regions across Yemen's governorates have been subjected to bombardment by the US-Saudi aggression using cluster bombs. Many of these internationally prohibited munitions still pose threats, scattered among farms and roads, leading to dozens of victims.

The toll of cluster bomb victims has exceeded 25,000 civilians since the onset of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen. Landmines and remnants left by aggressive forces during their occupation continue to endanger residents, particularly in farming areas and along roads.

Official statistics indicate that nine governorates in Yemen have witnessed 2,500 cluster bomb raids, featuring destructive, phosphorous, and piercing bombs. Noteworthy mentions include US CBU-87 bombs, British BL755 bombs, and Brazilian ASTROS II bombs.
