News - Yemen: Yemen's President Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mashat called on Arab and Islamic countries to stand with Palestine and support its oppressed people.

He reiterated that maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Gulf, and the Bab el-Mandeb is secure for all ships except those affiliated with the Israeli enemy, as well as American and British ships after their aggression against Yemen.

Mashat urged all Arab and Islamic nations to boycott American and Israeli goods, as economic boycott has an impact and effectiveness against the enemies of the nation.

He added that "our Arab and Islamic nation welcomes the blessed month of Ramadan this year, while our brothers in Palestine, particularly in Gaza, face the 6th consecutive month of the most heinous Israeli-American aggression in history."

He pointed out that all Israeli crimes would not have occurred without a clear American partnership in this aggression, which, for the third time, prevented and hindered all international efforts and global demands to stop it.

The Israeli regime launched the savage campaign in Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out a surprise operation against the occupying entity in response to the regime’s never-ending atrocities against Palestinians.

The regime has since killed at least 31,045 Palestinians, mostly women and children. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under the rubble.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation, particularly intensified after the Israeli devastating attack on Gaza on October 7.

Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they would prevent the Israeli-bounded ships from moving through the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stopped and the siege was lifted.
