New Phase of Confrontation in Regional Waters, Yemen Vows Escalation

Yemen: The operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces against the triad of America, Britain, and Israel have entered a new phase, escalating to a level that poses a greater threat to them.

With the announcement of Brigadier General Yahya Saree's postponement of the statement on Friday, it was evident that a larger escalation was imminent, and the theater of operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf was on high alert.

In a dark night that did not pass peacefully for the Americans, morning revealed their own accounts of an unprecedented attack on American ships and vessels by Yemen. They reported resisting over 15 drones and ballistic missiles, but the statement from the Armed Forces delivered by Brigadier General Yahya Saree at 10:30 AM on Saturday was clearer and more credible.

In the details of the statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces executed two qualitative military operations. The first targeted the American ship "PROPEL FORTUNE" in the Gulf of Aden with a number of suitable naval missiles. The second operation targeted a number of American war destroyers in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden using 37 drones, achieving their objectives successfully.

Commenting on these operations, Yemeni military expert Brigadier General Aabeed Al-Thour stated that the confrontations have entered an unprecedented new phase in the history of American wars. He affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces have adopted a strategy of a major offensive to crush the American forces.

Al-Thour pointed out that the American forces are now grasping the message well and are in a significant dilemma because the Yemeni military capabilities surpass theirs. He explained that American, British, and Israeli warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf are taken by surprise with Yemen's cunning weaponry, leaving the enemies incapable of facing the situation.

These two operations are not the prelude to the surprises announced by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, but rather a new stage, a transition from one situation to another. Hopefully, the enemy will understand the message well and move away from the arrogance and show of force to admit defeat and avoid confrontation.

Brigadier General Al-Thour emphasized that the current strategy of the Yemeni Armed Forces is a comprehensive attack at sea, giving them the advantage of hitting any American or British target, including war destroyers.

This marks a qualitative leap in managing the battle. Transitioning to a strategy of comprehensive battle will deplete the enemy's capabilities and render them unable to control.

Al-Thour pointed out that Yemen has reached a stage of deep defense, meaning that the Yemeni Armed Forces have the capability to eliminate American capabilities wherever they are deployed, confirming that targeting American destroyers with 37 drones indicates that Yemen now controls the battlefield and the theater of operations. Any adventurism by the warships advancing may expose them to sinking.

On the strategic regard, Dr. Ali Hameya, a strategic researcher, noted that these operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces signify entering a new phase that breaks previous equations.

He mentioned in his statement on "Almasirah" that targeting American destroyers serves the purpose of distraction, allowing the Yemeni forces to target commercial ships. This represents a new strategy of intensifying attacks on hostile targets.

He observed that whenever the Americans sought to expand the scope of war and confrontation, Yemen became more determined to face it. Such operations will completely strip the American enemy of the ability to control the Red Sea, the Arabian Gulf, and the Bab el Mandeb Strait.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed over 30,000 Palestinians and injured more than 72,000 others.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced preventing the Israeli-bounded ships from reaching the occupied Palestine through the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab until the Israeli aggression is stopped and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

The maritime attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes.

Tankers are instead adding thousands of miles to international shipping routes by sailing around the continent of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.

The US and Britain have been carrying out strikes against Yemen after Washington and its allies offered the Tel Aviv regime their unqualified support and said that Yemeni forces bear the consequences of their attacks against Israeli-linked ships sailing to and from the occupied territories.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they won’t stop retaliatory strikes.
