Yemen’s Naval and Winged Missiles: A Nightmare for Enemies in the Red Sea

Yemen: Once again, Sana'a showcases its expanding military capabilities in countering perceived adversaries, including the United States and Israel, underscoring their failure to establish effective deterrence.

In a recent development, the Yemeni Armed Forces, as announced by spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, conducted operations targeting American and Israeli assets across the Red Sea region. The first operation involved the striking of an American vessel, the Mado, in the Red Sea with several precision naval missiles. The second operation targeted the occupied area of Umm Al Rashrash with winged missiles.

According to the statement issued by the Armed Forces, both operations achieved their objectives despite the considerable geographical distance between Yemen. They occupied Palestine, as well as the presence of American and Western destroyers and warships in the Red Sea. This highlights the failure of the enemies' air defenses to intercept these missiles, which successfully reached "Eilat" and fulfilled their objectives, demonstrating the inability to counter such strikes effectively.

What distinguishes these operations is their timing, occurring amidst heightened acknowledgments from American and British authorities regarding their challenges in countering the Yemeni Armed Forces. US naval leaders have admitted Yemen's emergence as a significant maritime challenge, with Yemeni military operations described as "deadly," creating a formidable situation for US forces.

Military analyst General Khaled Gharab underscores the success of major joint military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, utilizing missile and drone capabilities across various maritime regions. He considers the integration of submarine weapons into these operations as a notable advancement in Yemen's military capabilities.

Gharab emphasizes that the success of these operations carries several implications, including Yemen's effective management of the conflict against global hegemonic powers, inflicting substantial economic losses exceeding billions of dollars on the enemy. These operations, conducted deep within occupied territory and in strategic maritime zones, send a clear message that Yemen will persist in its operations until the aggression ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.

Furthermore, clashes between the Yemeni Armed Forces and American and British naval forces confirm Yemen's emergence as a significant opposition force against hegemonic powers.

General Gharab also points out that the success of these operations proves to the Zionist enemy that the Armed Forces will escalate their operations if the enemy dares to invade Rafah province, confirming that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not abandon their principled and moral decision to support Gaza and uphold its just cause.

Military analyst Zaid Al-Sharif contextualizes Yemen's military actions within the framework of its humanitarian stance and moral support for Gaza. He views Yemen's support for Gaza as a moral responsibility and a principled stand against injustice.

Al-Sharif lauds Yemen's solidarity with Gaza as a significant Arab and moral stance, portraying Yemenis' support for Gaza as an honorable commitment with implications beyond worldly affairs.

He calls for the world to follow Yemen's example in standing with Gaza, which faces egregious crimes that challenge humanity's conscience.

In conclusion, Al-Sharif asserts that Yemen's escalation in military operations, whether targeting the Zionist entity in occupied Palestinian territories or engaging in maritime actions against Zionist, American, and British vessels, reaffirms its steadfast support for Gaza despite challenges. He contends that recent military operations, including the targeting of British and American ships, demonstrate a shift in dynamics contrary to the hopes of Washington, London, and Tel Aviv. He argues that US aggression against Yemen, in collaboration with Britain, has failed to deter Yemen's support for Gaza.
