Sayyed Abdulmalik Warns US, UK of Yemen's Hell: Ground Assault Scenario Will Be Much Worse

Yemen: The recent weekly address by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, regarding the developments in Gaza and the battle with the Zionist enemy and its American and British sponsors, contained an important and striking warning to the United States and Britain regarding any intentions they may have to launch a ground assault on Yemen, a move advocated by several parties trying to push Washington towards it.

The leader's warning came after he reviewed the ongoing failure in the current confrontation between Americans, Britons, and the Yemeni Armed Forces, easily inferred from the continuous testimonies provided by senior officers in the US and British navies to the media. They consistently affirm several key points: that the Yemeni Armed Forces possess advanced and unexpected weapons, have waged an unprecedented battle since World War II, conducted historically unprecedented operations, that the US and British forces have no information about Yemen's arsenal, that attacks on Yemen have not deterred it, that the current naval activity in the region imposes high costs on the US and the UK without commensurate results. Additionally, the ships associated with the Zionist entity, the US, and Britain continue to avoid Yemeni fire as much as possible despite months of confrontation, indicating that the aggressive military move against Yemen at sea has utterly failed.

The leader also cited the testimony of former US Marine Corps officer Gary Anderson, who wrote an article this week published by The Defense Post, stating: "The US Navy has reached a level of humiliation not seen in decades, and America has effectively lost control of the Red Sea." This means that the issue is not just about failing to stop Yemeni attacks but goes beyond to deal a counter-geopolitical and military blow that irreparably harms the United States.

In light of these clear results, the leader's warning serves as a clear message to Americans and Britons that all this failure and suffering comes in the context of their confrontation with only a "part" of the Yemeni Armed Forces represented by missiles, drones, and naval force. Dealing with the full force on the ground, consisting of hundreds of thousands of trained soldiers supported by millions of people, will be much more challenging. Furthermore, Yemen's evolving capabilities indicate that embarking on a ground assault based on the results of the current confrontation would practically be suicidal, with outcomes far worse than the current failure.

The leader had warned Americans of this option before their recent aggression on Yemen. However, repeating this warning in the latest address comes in light of numerous reports discussing the failure of the US-British campaign against Yemen, suggesting the necessity of a ground assault. Many officials and officers encountered by the media constantly talk about the need for a ground attack on Yemen. This is also echoed by the mercenaries of the Saudi-Emirati aggression, who continually demand US and British support to move against the Yemeni armed forces.

This warning now sends a clear message to the enemy that Yemen has been prepared for such a scenario since early on, a point that the enemies must seriously consider. If the Armed Forces were able to impose unprecedented naval equations in record time, without extensive prior experimentation, they would be capable of engaging in a much more professional, precise, and violent ground battle, given their unique experience in this field, which is similar to their current naval prowess.

This implicit affirmation of readiness for a ground battle, explicitly confirmed by the leader before the American aggression on Yemen, sends another message to the enemies that retreating from the supportive stance for Gaza is not an option in the calculations of the Yemeni people. Instead, they are ready to go to the utmost limits of confrontation, clinging to this position and reinforcing the Yemeni front by actively participating in the battle for Al-Aqsa, which means that any intentions by Americans and Britons to invade will not achieve the main objective of obstructing Yemen's supportive stance for the Palestinian people but will instead be a bigger and broader quagmire that will lead to their defeat, shaking the Zionist entity along with them.
