News - Middle East: A senior Chadian official has praised the Yemeni Armed Forces for their stance against the Zionist occupation and their military support to the Palestinian resistance.

Hussein Al-Mahjari Dawood, Deputy Speaker of the Chadian Parliament, stated in an interview with Arab Journal International on Saturday that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, sponsored by the United States and the West, has exposed the falsehood of Western civilization and culture, built on the denial, removal, and elimination of the other from existence. 

He explained that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm revealed the weakness of the Israeli entity in the face of Palestinian determination, after the West, led by the US, rushed to rescue it from shock and defeat, expecting an imminent end to the enemy entity.

The Chadian official affirmed that the will of the Yemeni people responded to the call of duty in Gaza, and Yemeni operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean succeeded in preventing supplies from reaching the Zionist enemy.

Addressing the Yemeni people, he said: "You have restored dignity, revived aspirations, and with the heroes of Palestine, you have revived the hope for freedom and the return of civilization."

He added that Palestine's resilience against the world's most powerful military arsenal has opened the eyes of Africans to the fragility of Western "magical power," which has proven to be mere psychological warfare propagated by Western media specialists skilled in distorting facts.

Dawood pointed out that honorable African stances on the issue of the oppressed Palestinian people will have a positive impact in favor of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that Israel's aggressive war on Gaza requires African countries to reconsider their international relations, downplaying the issue of some African regimes' engagement in normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation.

He stated that normalization by some African regimes with the Zionist entity lacks true legitimacy, and African peoples reject Zionist influence on the continent, refusing to establish relations with this occupying entity. He explained that amidst current regional and international transformations, Africa must form new international alliances and partnerships that respect mutual interests, with the Arab world, Russia, and China at the forefront.

Since the commencement of the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

The Armed Forces have conducted recent attacks on ships with ties to Israel near Yemeni ports, including the interception and seizure of a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime on November 19.

The ongoing Israeli siege has inflicted heavy casualties on Palestinians in Gaza, who have been enduring the war since October 7.

Gaza's Health Ministry said over 33,137 people, mostly women and children, had been killed in the war that the regime started following an operation staged by the Palestinian territory's resistance movements.
