April 7: Dozens of Yemeni Citizens Killed, Injured by US-Saudi Aggression on Yemen

Yemen: April 8th of every year marks the brutality and ferocity of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen over the past nine years.

The aggression has committed a series of crimes, confirming that its war on Yemen was nothing but a vendetta against Yemenis and an obstruction to any progress for the September 21 revolution.

Below are more details illustrating this:

April 8, 2015: 47 citizens were wounded in the targeting of homes in Sana’a.

During the initial months of its savage war on Yemen, the US-Saudi aggression committed numerous crimes in an attempt to force Yemenis into surrender. The airstrikes were harsh and merciless on civilians in the capital Sanaa and several Yemeni provinces.

On April 8, 2015, the aggression's warplanes, as usual, searched for a crime to add to its bloody record, targeting residential buildings in the eastern and western Jiraf neighborhood of the capital, Sanaa.

Several houses were severely damaged, some partially, and 47 civilians were wounded, some with severe injuries. Citizens' cars suffered significant damage, and their belongings and household furniture were buried under the rubble, even children's toys that they used for amusement were not spared from the aggression's brutality.

One citizen mournfully asked aloud: "This war is against whom? If you had devoted it to Israel, would you be considered heroes ?" He concluded by repeatedly saying, "Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs."

Another commented on what happened, saying: "They targeted civilians during lunchtime, with the airstrikes coming as a surprise." He confirmed that a house was completely destroyed, with nothing left of it. Then he asked: "This is a civilian area without military camps or combat fronts, so why are they bombing us in this barbaric manner?"

Another citizen said: "All this bombing and destruction of civilian homes will not frighten us at all," confirming that what happened indicates the animosity of the US and the Saudi regimes and all those who supported them.

Another resident said: "All the occupants inside the targeted building are renters, most of them women and children. It is not a military headquarters, nor a combat front, nor a nuclear factory, so why are they bombing it?"

The wounded and injured were quickly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, carrying with them, alongside their pain and injuries, a deep resentment towards the aggression, vowing revenge.

Eyewitnesses said the documented crime primarily targeted civilians and is a stain on the foreheads of the Saudi and Emirati regimes that will not fade with time, confirming that the Yemeni people cannot forget or forgive those who committed these heinous crimes.

April 8, 2016: 17 Martyrs and Wounded in the Bombing of Car in Taiz

On this day, April 8, 2016, the scene was harsh and painful for everyone who saw or witnessed the burnt car of one of the displaced persons due to the rockets and airstrikes of the US-Saudi aggression in the Raqqa area of the Wazi'iyah directorate in the Taiz governorate, southwest Yemen.

The car turned into a mass of burnt ashes, and everyone inside it either became martyrs or was transported to the hospital with deep wounds and first-degree burns, resulting in the martyrdom of 7 civilians and the injury of 10 others.

A relative of the targeted family said the car was on its way back from the market to their home, but the aggression's airstrikes showed no mercy and targeted it, resulting in the martyrdom of 7 family members, with 3 of them critically injured.

One of the children who witnessed this crime said: "These are the crimes of the US-Saudi aggression that killed my uncle, cousin, and his family."

Citizen Jameel Hassan Jileh's car will remain a witness to the extent of the cruelty and harshness of the aggression, and generations will remember it, and it will never be erased from their memory, as they affirmed.

One survivor of this crime, hospitalized for treatment, alongside a bloodied little girl with wounds on her head and hands, said: "The American aggression bombed us while we were in the Wazi'iyah directorate. What is our fault?" He then stopped talking, carrying burdens like mountains.

Footage showed some of the injured and their bodies burnt by the airstrikes, screaming in pain and pleading to Allah for the swift demise of the criminal oppressors and for vengeance upon them. The face of a young girl, disfigured by the crime, and several amputees are also shown.

A doctor in the directorate said most of the injuries they received are very serious, and critically injured cases have been transferred to Al Hudaydah governorate due to the shortage of medical supplies and the absence of qualified staff in the directorate's hospital.

April 8, 2018: Two Martyrs in Saudi Bombing on Shida Border Directorate

And on this day in 2018, Sa’adah governorate did not escape the heinous Saudi targeting, as the Shida directorate witnessed a new round of Saudi bombing, resulting in two martyrs whose lifeless bodies were transported for burial as martyrs of the crimes and ugliness of the Saudi regime’s brutality and savagery in Yemen.
