News - Middle East: Member of the National Delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ejri, has stated that the stance of Arab states toward the Palestinian issue negatively impacts their position amid ongoing regional transformations.

In a post on his X account Monday, Al-Ejri noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran, Yemen, and various resistance movements, due to their support for the Palestinian people, is poised to assume a significant leadership role in the region's future.

"Should the Arab states continue on their current path regarding regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause, Iran could soon emerge as the uncontested regional leader," he said.

"The world and the region are undergoing transformative phases, with the Palestinian cause at the forefront of regional dynamics," he added.

Al-Ejri also highlighted Yemen's commitment to the Palestinian cause, stating, "Yemen, as a government and people, has decided to stand firmly behind the Palestinian resistance fighters, ensuring that Iran does not monopolize this role."

He urged Arab regimes to reconsider their approach, emphasizing, "No one is asking you to wage war, but you have choices to make. Otherwise, you risk being mere followers of American and Western interests."

Following the "Sincere Promise" operation conducted by Iran against the Zionist entity—retaliation for the targeting of the Iranian consulate in Syria—further light has been shed on the passive stance of some Arab countries in the conflict with Israel.

Reports indicate involvement from several Arab countries in efforts to intercept Iranian drones and missiles. Notably, Jordanian fighter jets reportedly participated in the interception, and Jordanian airspace was used by American and British aircraft for similar purposes. Additionally, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other nations reportedly participated in monitoring and tracking operations through a radar network, providing early warning support to Israel, despite a significant number of Iranian projectiles reaching their targets.

Hebrew media outlets have reported satisfaction within the Zionist entity regarding the level of Arab participation in these defensive efforts, viewing it as an indication of a "significant alliance" in support of Israel.
