He added that Israel needs to solidify the "Israeli-Arab-Western Alliance" because the situation is larger than Israel alone and requires the unification of all forces.

In the same vein, Israeli media commented, noting, "The studios exploded with arrogance and insolence," likening Israel to a "bad chess player, brimming with overconfidence, taking several steps forward, each worse than the last."

These views underscore a continuing trend since Iran retaliated for the targeting of its consulate in Damascus, highlighting a loss of confidence among Israeli media and the public in their government's ability to handle the situation and its aftermath. The attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus was widely criticized as a hasty and miscalculated action.

The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that the "Iranian overnight attack serves as a stark reminder of the loss of strategic deterrence for both Israel and the United States," and that it "created an opportunity to reshape the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East."

The newspaper further stated that Iran has positioned itself in direct confrontation with Israel and has acted contrary to a clear US presidential warning not to engage.

Meanwhile, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the night of Iran's response to the consulate targeting in Damascus was a "strategic farce" for Israel, describing it as a "strategic failure" for Israel.

This report follows the announcement by the Aerospace Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard last Sunday that it targeted the occupied Palestinian territories with dozens of missiles and drones, "as part of punishing Israel for its crimes," including the attack on the consular section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, which resulted in the deaths of several Iranian military leaders and advisors.
