Chronicles of Destruction: US-Saudi Aggression's Strikes on Yemeni Cities

Yemen: The US-Saudi aggression continued, as usual, committing heinous crimes and massacres against the Yemeni people, targeting public and private institutions, roads, and citizens' interests. April 28th was one of those days during the past 9 years.

On this day, airstrikes targeted some government and private institutions, leading to the complete displacement of the residents of Haradh district. Here are the most notable crimes that occurred on such a day:

April 29, 2015 - Martyrdom of a civilian and injury of others:

On this day in 2015, as usual, the aggression's warplanes were flying over the province of Ibb, monitoring the movements of citizens here and there, targeting their livelihoods, properties, services, and interests before their lives.

This time, satellite images and enemy reconnaissance drones captured a shepherd in Naqil Samarrah holding a stick, herding his sheep, alongside the movement of transportation on the main road linking Ibb province with several other Yemeni provinces.

The shepherd, engrossed in watching over his sheep and preventing them from straying or being involved in accidents on the winding asphalt road, was suddenly ambushed by the aggression's airstrikes, turning him into a heap of flesh, his body torn apart and his clothes strewn on the slopes of Mount Samarrah and its towering peaks.

The aggression's airstrikes continued on the main road in Naqil Samarrah. Among those who rushed to the site of the airstrike was a child. His eyes fell accidentally on his father's torn apron lying on the roadside, bearing traces of blood.

A piece of skull lying beside the apron caught the attention of the crowd. One of them bent down, lifted it with the tips of his fingers, and placed it next to the torn piece of cloth, saying, "This is a piece of his head." It was a brutal scene; the child screamed among them, desperately swearing, "By God, it's my father, this is my father's shirt, where is he? Please move, oh my fathers..."

Tears, crying, and the feeling of losing a father in a sudden moment for a child incapable of anything, a tragedy that shakes living consciences and noble souls.

Those around him tried to calm him down, affirming that he was not his father, but to no avail. They asked him: What was his job here? He replied that he was herding sheep. Meanwhile, paramedics struggled with the intense pain and bouts of high crying of a child searching for his father after an ordeal.

They turned right and left, up and down, spreading on the slopes of Mount Samarrah, searching its dangerous twists and turns for the shepherd's body. They found traces of his spilled blood on successive rocks towards the bottom of the steep slope.

Here, a piece of the shepherd's body was picked up, there a part of the aggression's missile, and elsewhere remnants of a torn body, hidden features of an elderly man turned by the aggression's airstrikes into a pile of flesh piled up at the foot of the mountain.

It is a criminal scene against humanity, the laws, international treaties, and human rights organizations, indeed a threat to the safety of the human community, the actual representative of the satanic endeavors.

The scenes of targeting the main road and the designated location of the airstrike reveal the aggression's efforts to separate Ibb province from Sanaa, Dhamar, and several other Yemeni provinces in a military plan aimed at dividing Yemen and preventing military, civilian, and humanitarian supplies from reaching from North Yemen to South Yemen.

The aggression's airstrikes on Naqil Samarrah resulted in the martyrdom of the shepherd, the injury of others, the death of a number of livestock, the damage to several vehicles, the disruption of traffic for hours and days, and instilling a state of fear and panic among passersby in Naqil, and the residents of nearby villages and isolated areas, from the horror of the crime and the gruesomeness of the scene caused by the lethal aggression's airstrikes.

April 29, 2015 - The Aggression Turns Haradh City into a Scorched Land:

On the same day, April 29th, 2015, US-Saudi aggression intensified its airstrikes on several public and private facilities in Haradh city, turning it into an uninhabitable city.

On the 34th day of the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen, Haradh city, close to the Saudi border, was at the top of the strategic targets list. Its airstrikes targeting service facilities and civilian homes revealed its plans to invade the city after turning it into a scorched land, where smoke columns, dust, the smell of death, scenes of mass massacres, and the mass displacement of residents rose, leaving their homes and businesses behind, hoping to return after a while.

Haradh city, which served as a connecting point between the Yemeni and Hijazi peoples and the largest land border crossing between them, was turned by the aggression into a barrier of death, destruction, ruins, eerie ruins, scattered bodies, and mass graves under the rubble. The aggression's airstrikes prevented access to these sites for rescue efforts.

The scenes show cars and trucks loaded with furniture and families, men and women, old and young, fleeing certain death, heading towards an unknown future, turning them into displaced people waiting for a food basket from humanitarian organizations and its inadequate crumbs for human use.

The airstrikes on this fateful day in the lives of Yemenis destroyed some government and private facilities, displaced thousands of citizens, turned the city into ruins and destruction, and created a state of fear and panic in the hearts of women, children, and residents.

April 29, 2015 - Martyrs and Wounded in Targeting the Arab Commercial Complex in Aden:

On the same day, April 29, 2015, the US-Saudi aggression airstrikes directed their hatred towards the Arab Commercial Complex in Khormaksar, Aden province.

On this day, workers at the Arab Commercial Complex were going about their usual daily activities, while the aggression's aircraft monitored their movements, minutes before taking their lives, shedding their blood, cutting off their livelihoods, and terrifying their children and women. In a moment of the day, the warplanes dropped their shrapnel rockets and explosive bombs on their heads, plunging them into unprecedented terror and fear.

Smoke columns and flames rising in the sky of Khormaksar appeared as a terrifying scene, a hell set for those inside the complex and around it. The US-Saudi aggression exploited it as a media material to boost morale and deceive public opinion with false victory images, the goal of which was civilian, but its action was contrary, embodying a picture of psychological warfare against Yemeni viewers.

The five-story Arab Commercial Complex was filled with clothes, furniture, food, and all shopping requirements under one roof. The aggression's airstrikes turned it into smoke and ash mixed with charred bodies of workers and the future of investors vanished in the blink of an eye.

April 29, 2018 - Aggression's Airstrikes Target Central Bank Branch and Fuel Station:

In 2018, on the same day, April 29th, the aggression's target was purely economic, targeting the branch of the Central Bank and a fuel station in Sa’adah province with a number of destructive airstrikes.

At ten o'clock in the evening of that day, the aggression's warplanes hovered in the sky of Saada province based on inaccurate information from its treacherous spies and agents in state institutions, necessitating the targeting of the Yemeni Central Bank branch in Sa’adah province.

The airstrikes, which began that night and continued for the second consecutive day on the branch of the bank in Sa’adah province, revealed the aggression's confusion in the economic confrontation and currency wars, especially after the Yemeni Central Bank in Sanaa banned the circulation of counterfeit currency in the provinces and free areas, leading to the failure of American efforts to strike what remained of the value of the Yemeni riyal.

The airstrikes resulted in the complete destruction of the branch of the Yemeni Central Bank in Sa’adah, with fragments reaching neighboring shops and homes, causing a state of fear and panic in the hearts of children and women, a wave of displacement from near the bank, and the blocking of the nearby public road.

On the same day in 2018, the aggression's aircraft targeted a fuel filling station, resulting in its complete destruction and damage to several citizens' cars, a state of panic and fear among citizens, and the escalation of smoke and flames in the city's sky. It was a comprehensive war targeting all elements of life and resilience, aiming to multiply the suffering of citizens and push them towards displacement and surrender, which the aggression failed to achieve despite its targeted plans for public and private interests, institutions, and service facilities.
