News - Yemen: A citizen was killed on Tuesday by the explosion of an object from the remnants of the US-Saudi aggression in the Ad-Durayhimi district of Hodeidah governorate.

According to Almasirah Net correspondent in Hodeidah, an explosion occurred on the car of the citizen Ali Mohsen Salem, 32 years old, resulting in his martyrdom.

The National Center for Mine Action revealed in its statistics that mine remnants and explosive devices caused the deaths of 52 people, including 19 children and five women, and injured 80 others, including four women and 24 children, in Hodeidah governorate in 2023.

Hodeidah is one of the most heavily contaminated areas with mines and remnants from the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, posing a significant threat to the lives of civilians in various districts. 

This has resulted in considerable casualties, particularly in areas that have experienced escalated aggression by mercenaries, notably Ad-Durayhimi, Hayes, At-Tohyta, Al-Matar, Al-Arbeen Street, Al-Khamseen Street, and other vulnerable areas due to the presence of explosives and cluster bombs.
