Banking sources reported that the selling price of the dollar in Aden and the southern and eastern governorates has risen to 1792 riyals, while the Saudi riyal has exceeded 470 Yemeni riyals, with an increase over the past 48 hours of 21 riyals for the dollar and 5 riyals for the Saudi riyal.

This increase comes concurrently with the approaching Eid al-Adha, a time when people's needs for food consumption increase.

The economic collapse has significantly impacted the living conditions of citizens in Aden and other occupied southern provinces, leading to a situation where the Saudi-backed government is unable to pay teachers' salaries.
