Military Media Releases Video of Sinking Ship Violating Ban on Entry to Occupied Palestinian Ports

News - Yemen: The military media of the Yemeni Armed Forces released a video depicting a fatal attack on a ship that had violated their ban on entering the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories.

The video was released on Wednesday, less than a week after the operation against the vessel "Tutor," belonging to Evalend Shipping Co. S.A., a Greek company.

The footage showed the vessel being struck by two drone boats while sailing in the Red Sea, resulting in its sinking. The video captures the moment the first attack boat hit the ship from the rear, causing a significant explosion and severe damage. It also shows the second attack boat striking the ship midsection, leading to another large explosion.

Additionally, the scenes document a direct hit by a group of missiles and drones on the ship.

The Yemeni Navy clarified that "Tutor" was targeted after a ship belonging to its owner, Evalendar Shipping Co SA, violated the ban by entering the occupied port of Haifa.

“We have sent emails to the maritime companies informing them and warning that if their ships enter [the ports of the occupied territories], they will be on the banned list,” the Yemeni Navy said.

The Yemeni Navy confirmed that "Tutor" had turned off its AIS transponder while passing through the Red Sea. Various naval weapons were used in targeting and sinking the ship, including some used for the first time.

The Navy urged all shipping companies to take their warnings seriously or bear full responsibility for the safety of their ships and crews.

The forces pledged to continue their operations as long as the Israeli regime sustains the war and the crippling siege against Gaza.

"All US and British attacks will not stop our supportive operations for Gaza. Each attack will be met with a stronger response and more severe strikes," the Navy added.

The Armed Forces began enforcing the ban following the onset of a genocidal war by the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip on October 7 last year.

Israel has killed more than 37,390 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since that October day.
