News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces revealed, Wednesday, the missile that targeted the Israeli ship (MSC SARAH V) in the Arabian Sea.

General Brigadier Yahya Sare'e, the spokesperson for the Armed Forces, explained in a brief statement that it was a locally manufactured supersonic missile with advanced technology and high precision, capable of reaching long distances.

Sare'e did not provide any additional information about the missile, but clarified that footage of the launch would be distributed along with further details through the Military Media at a later time.

Tuesday evening, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that the Naval Forces executed a qualitative military operation targeting the Israeli ship "MSC SARAH V" in the Arabian Sea.

The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that the operation was carried out with a new ballistic missile that entered service after successful trial operations. He explained that the missile is distinguished by its precise targeting capabilities over long distances, as demonstrated in this operation.

He emphasized that the Armed Forces continue to enhance their military capabilities to support Palestinian resistance militarily and to defend beloved Yemen.

This marks the second disclosure by the Yemeni Armed Forces within five days of weapons entering the battle, targeting enemy ships. Last Friday, June 21, military media distributed footage of a Yemeni-made unmanned aerial vehicle, "Tofan-1", known for its significant combat capabilities, as a qualitative addition to enhance naval forces.

The "Tofan-1" UAV is capable of carrying a 150-kilogram warhead, enabling it to cause substantial damage to enemy maritime targets. It boasts a speed of up to 35 nautical miles per hour, allowing it to swiftly and accurately reach its targets. Its high maneuverability makes it difficult for the enemy to detect and intercept.

The "Tofan-1" UAV is specifically used to target nearby maritime targets, whether stationary or moving. It can also be deployed in other combat missions, such as attacking enemy warships and maritime installations.

The "Tofan-1" UAV represents a qualitative step in local arms manufacturing, showcasing advanced capabilities developed by the naval forces in the field of advanced weapons.
