News - Yemen: The Human Rights Office in Taiz Governorate strongly condemned the drone attack by the mercenaries of the US-Saudi aggression, which targeted the homes of citizens in the eastern Habour village in the Sabr Al-Mawadim district. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of two children and the injury of seven others, mostly children, with serious injuries.

In a statement, the office affirmed that this crime violates the right of childhood to life following international laws, conventions, and charters, constituting a war crime that exposes its perpetrators to criminal accountability.

The office noted that this crime comes at a time when efforts are being made to seek calm and reopen roads to alleviate the suffering of citizens in the governorate. It highlighted that this incident is part of a series of recurrent crimes recently committed by the aggression's mercenaries.

The office held the aggression countries and their mercenaries criminally responsible for this horrific crime, calling on all international and local organizations to assume their humanitarian responsibilities, monitor these violations, and work to stop these crimes and prosecute their perpetrators.

Earlier, the US-Saudi aggression mercenaries committed a new crime against a family in the Sabr Al-Mawadim district of Taiz governorate.

Details of the crime indicate that the mercenaries' drone dropped a shell on the homes of citizens in the area, resulting in the martyrdom of 5-year-old Amal Rafiq Muhammad Al-Habouri and 3-year-old Hussain Sadiq Muhammad Ali Saad.

The injured included 70-year-old Abdullah Ali Muhammad Saad, 7-year-old Ariam Sadiq Muhammad Ali,  12-year-old Ramez Abdulrahman Abdullah Saleh, 12-year-old Ahmed Abdulqawi Muhammad Al-Habouri, 7-year-old Ihsan Rafiq Muhammad Ali, and 4-year-old Bayan Sadiq Muhammad Ali.

The US-Saudi aggression mercenaries in Taiz Governorate repeatedly commit crimes against citizens in areas controlled by the Supreme Political Council, through sniping, artillery, and drone targeting, resulting in martyrs, wounded, and material damage to citizens' property and homes.
