The Tel Aviv regime is the only foreign entity cited in the Republican Party’s newly published platform, signaling Donald Trump’s strong support for the Israeli regime should he win November’s US presidential election, media reports said on Monday.
The Republican Party’s newly published platform was released ahead of the Republican Party’s national convention scheduled to be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Donald Trump is to be formally declared on Thursday as the Republicans' nominee for the 2024 US presidential election.
The Republicans’ newly published platform will be ratified at the upcoming convention.
The party's platform details Trump’s agenda for the next four years. If he defeats incumbent Joe Biden or his replacement, he will be elected once more as US president.
Strengthening the United States domestically and abroad, restoring fiscal balance, and fighting immigration were cited as some of the policies Trump should pursue in the next four years, in addition to supporting the Israeli regime, according to the party's platform.
Trump's future support for Israelis was emphasized in the platform as such, “We will stand with Israel, and seek peace in the Middle East.” Trump has been portraying himself to the Israelis as “the best [US] president in the history of Israel.”
Republicans are especially notorious for voicing their extra strong military support for the Israeli war machine.
The Israeli regime's war-mongering Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his governing extremist Likud Party are said to be favorites of most of the Republican politicians in the United States.
Washington has provided billions of dollars of weapons and ammunition to the Israeli regime since it launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October killing more than 38,580 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 88,881 others with the remains of thousands more buried under rubble or found on the roads as ambulances and civil defense crews are banned by the Israeli military from approaching victims.
