News - Yemen: The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) congratulated the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and its Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, for the initial response targeting sensitive military objectives deep within the Zionist entity using hundreds of rockets and drones.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the JMP affirmed that responding to Zionist aggression is a legitimate right for the axis of jihad and resistance as a whole, and that a powerful and deterrent response is inevitable.

The statement highlighted that Hezbollah's significant and precise response successfully shattered the arrogance of the enemy's so-called "invincible" army and disrupted the Iron Dome, as confirmed by the party and explained by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

The statement reiterated that Yemen's support front will continue to escalate in support of Gaza and Palestine, emphasizing that Yemen's response is forthcoming, as repeatedly confirmed by the Leader of the Revolution, and reaffirmed by the Minister of Defense, who stated that the Armed Forces are fully prepared to deliver painful strikes deep within the enemy's entity.

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah conducted a large-scale retaliatory operation against Israel deep inside the occupied territories, calling it the first phase of its retaliation for the assassination of top commander Fuad Shukr, in Beirut in July.

Hezbollah says it fired more than 320 rockets at 11 Israeli sites and military bases.

An Israeli naval boat was among the targets hit by Hezbollah rockets where a number of Israeli soldiers were reportedly killed.

Hezbollah conducted the strikes after Israel carried out what it called a preemptive attack on southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has rejected the allegations as empty claims.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called a security cabinet meeting to discuss Hezbollah’s strike.

The regime has also declared a 48-hour state of emergency, as authorities ordered all universities and beaches in the port city of Haifa to be closed until further notice.
