These airstrikes resulted in 72 martyrs, 84 wounded, and the destruction of dozens of homes, farms, bridges, shops, and transport trucks. This caused widespread displacement, homelessness, increased suffering among civilians, and further deterioration of the living and humanitarian conditions in Yemen.
Here are some of the details of these crimes committed against the Yemeni people on this day:
2015: 54 Casualties in Various Crimes in Dhamar
On September 15, 2015, the Dhamar governorate witnessed three simultaneous war crimes from US-Saudi airstrikes, which randomly targeted citizens' homes in Doran Anis district, the home of Abdul Basit Obaat in the Khrashan area of Jahran district, and a residential area in the city of Sharq in Jabal Sharq district. This resulted in 24 martyrs and 30 wounded, including children and women, displacing dozens of families and exacerbating their suffering amid worsening humanitarian conditions in Yemen, with widespread destruction of private and public property.
In Doran Anis district, coalition aircraft committed a war crime and mass extermination of citizens' homes with direct strikes, resulting in 34 martyrs and injured, as debris and bodies filled the streets with the cries of wounded women and children trapped under the rubble. This triggered a wave of displacement and widespread property damage, a testimony to the war crimes being committed by the coalition.
In Jahran district, an airstrike targeted the Obaat family home in Khrashan, resulting in 14 martyrs and wounded, wiping out a family under the rubble, terrifying the locals, and causing severe damage to their homes and properties.
In Jabal Sharq district, a residential neighborhood in Sharq City was bombed, wounding six civilians and causing extensive damage to citizens' homes, properties, and shops, spreading fear among women and children.
38 Innocent Lives Taken and 4 Bridges Destroyed in Al-Mahwit
On September 15, 2015, the coalition continued targeting homes and bridges connecting governorates in Bani Saad, Al-Rujm, and the city of Al-Mahwit. This resulted in 15 civilians martyred, 23 wounded, and tens of thousands cut off from their livelihoods.
Bridges were vital lifelines connecting villages and towns, facilitating the movement of people and goods. Their destruction now stands as a testament to the coalition’s inhumanity.
29 Martyrs and Injured in a Market and Bridge Bombing in Hajjah
On the same day, coalition airstrikes targeted a popular market in the Sharas area and a bridge connecting Hajjah and Amran governorates, killing 12 and wounding 17 civilians. The airstrikes wreaked havoc, turning the market into rubble and terrifying the local population.
20 Martyrs and Wounded in Sa'adah Airstrikes
Sa'adah governorate witnessed a series of airstrikes targeting civilian homes, public properties, markets, and farms in Baqim, Saqain, and Razih districts, resulting in 13 martyrs, seven wounded, and mass displacement.
8 Casualties in Fuel and Food Trucks Bombing in Marib
Coalition aircraft targeted a fuel tanker and two trucks loaded with food and steel on the Sana'a-Marib road, causing four deaths and four injuries.
Destruction in Bayt Balis, Sana'a
